Looks like admin has put an end to the bby gang. Such a shame. Balfour Beatty share price under pressure today as the ftse heads south. Good luck all.
Looks like this is one of a handful(a small handful) of positive ones today. For off topic stuff it might be better to go over to the general chat or can use one that's 'dead' that I go onto CAZD if you like AA/Lego et al.
They held up fair on Friday considering..but could stunt them for a while..
They'd have to fall a lot more for me to reload.
Drop in line with the main market today IMO,still a 3 quid share but not today!
Where did you pick this up from ? Their last fatality I can find was Oct last year and no mention of shut downs. Deramper ?
I believe Balfour Beatty had a fatality on a building site in GB! May have something to do with the SP as every site has been shut down by the HSE!
Massive over reaction bt MMs to a modest fall in profits. I see this back to 320 by early next week.
You may be right ,but there are still a lot of if,s about this co I sold out at 315 and will not consider again above 280
at least they are taking control of their problems eg in Australia ...and hopefully in a good position to get some healthly contracts in the US once the long winter there finally ends ...cautious but optimistic :)
should recover to 310 soon. Better second half profit.
Night all.
Okay mate, sweet dreams of buying shares that don't drop the moment you buy them(like those NWS ones have for me this week!). Lego, cheers for the link, not enough social housing so maybe a growth one? On the real estate sept did you look at BBOX,projected 6p? Also there's a ground rent one, called GRIO which looks like it yields quarterly, good income stream? I've got tritax already but still haven't made my mind up about the ground rent ones.
Mr. Jones interviewed me for a weekend job at a new Tesco. Said he was new to Scotland and would be needing a baby sitter if I preferred that to the checkout.
My understanding is 11.8 but projected 12.8p?
I've no idea why they had a go but far too cheap against their assets. I'll slice again if I see a 2 depending on what else is about at the time but always keep a chunk in case the incumbent leader of Zim does the right thing!! My biggest aim loss remains the rangers but I guess its a case of waiting as usual! Lego,I don't know that one?
Which IPO?
Agreed, always opportunities lurking around. The old girl is well up there on SP along with a few others which I've pretty much sold and reinvested in newer stuff at greater than 5% now price div. Supermarkets, tesco too cheap and will be back at 350-380 possibly more in the next few months but the lowest yield. Sains in the middle on yield and should be a 4 quid share and the Qatari t/o pops up every now and then, last time I bothered to check they were just below the 30% needed to trigger it(I think that's how it works?) and morrisons highest yield and biggest contrarian play as most hammered on SP and the property assets are way over the cap plus the buyout possibility. Easy a three quider at some point....all IMO!!!
No James tonight,he always helps..as did Langyy..
On Topic...bby have done well today& so has abg again..both over £3. ..finger was hovering today...
Is PAR going for broke
Sbry or Mrw...whittled it down to those...whats your opinion...
Damn...you been on the xmas crackers..
You fishing again
Sorry, didn't read that correctly...good luck if you go back into evraz. I've got a few but at an horrific loss, good entry for recovery I'd have thought now. Hansard perked up a bit today along with a reversal of yesterday's wipe out on most of the blue team!
