Hi Sam, I always keep an eye on what else is out there to replace the yield too. My broker said as the money coming through crest it could take a week or two to land. Interesting timing on director, good for confidence going forwards.

Yep same here, I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve ’averaged up’. I know someone who only buys if it’s on its way up, don’t think I’ve done that either lol

That explains it thanks mate. I’ve got tons of holdings for diversity of income so there’s always something in the blue, nothing stand out though. Only really notice them if they go into profit or more usually another averaging down opportunity lol.

Read in the IC recently someone going on about never averaging down, only buying once and selling anything that drops….id never be in profit on anything if I didn’t average down!

I remember sage on here saying once he’ll inevitably have to buy more of anything he bought! Don’t think he’s around anymore or riddler?

Well no one likes losing money and no one knows what’s round the corner mate. I have clawed a bit back over the years and actually made a bit with the Covid crash and last spring’s Trump tariff nonsense because it coincided with the new isa year. Winners and losers but dividends are the only true profit as a poster from the old BBY days once said and it’s always stuck with me.

The shares will be disabled in CREST after close of business on the Redemption Date and the existing ISIN number, GG00BP2NJT37, (the "Old ISIN") will expire. The new ISIN number, GG00BTZC2850, (the "New ISIN") in respect of the remaining shares which have not been compulsorily redeemed will be enabled and available for transactions from 8.00 a.m. on 2 February 2026. The share price TIDM, "TMIP" and "TMI", will remain unchanged. For the period up to and including the Redemption Date, shares will be traded under the Old ISIN and as such, a purchaser of such shares may have a market claim for a proportion of the redemption proceeds following the activation of the New ISIN. CREST will automatically transfer any open transactions as at the Redemption Date to the New ISIN.

This is from the Jan 22nd RNS which I’m guessing means the ‘new’shares which are the ones left over will be isa eligible but just a piece of admin for the broker to enable them and as far as the need for a new ISIN goes I’ve got no idea unless maybe something to do with certificate holders?!

Personally as long as they keep paying a quarterly dividend I’m not bothered about the SP but if they want to buy the rest at nav even better!

Hi Sam et al. My residual:keeping ones are showing at the now/delayed price in both my main and ISA accounts with the other 46ish % showing the amount but no value ‘dummy partial cash’.

Kevin you might want to query with your broker whether yours are isa-eligible because as far as I’m concerned they are still but maybe need to be ‘made’ isa-eligible once the new ISIN or whatever it is goes to the remaining shares.

I’ll check with my broker once the corporate action is completed and if they’re not isa eligible I won’t be very happy either!

Regarding the fluctuations surrounding the share price of late, I’d put that down to the fog surrounding most corporate actions q.v. rights issues always seem to move around a lot until it all settles down. GLA

I’ve seen loads just disappear over the years mate, could be anything or maybe just didn’t want to do it anymore or be associated. A good friend of mine who was active for years(not on here) just stopped, put it into half a dozen managed funds and we never talk shares anymore! I trade if I get lucky on something but it all goes back in and my focus is increasing the overall yield, frequency of divs and quantity/diversity of holdings/sectors….my little income fund! Countryfile always a good watch, catch up soon mate.

Never shot a fox but they were shot around the pheasant rearing season and the owner of the local Chinese bought them for a pony (25) at the time a brace of pheasants were a fiver!

When we had the hens we fortified their quarters with wire and masonry because they would t just take one so didn’t have that dilemma.is he still about on here?

I only really do shares on income!

It’s milder by the Bristol Channel,a couple of degrees mostly but I’ve also got pallets with seasoning wood all over the place completely of damp spots for them to hibernate but surprised the big ones get in as everywhere is wired under fences to keep the jacks digging out!

Hi Troj et al, hope you’re all doing okay. Not much to report this end except wishing I’d added more roof panels up at the land before ‘it never stops raining’ arrived!

At least the ponds are full as I’m sure yours are too Troj. Having a mare as the non resident frogs and toads have become a bit more adventurous and strayed into contact with the pups with predictable outcomes!

Just tinkering with the shares, pretty much out of big miners(too soon as it turned out), added a few oils about right(the divvy ones).

Thanks for your thoughts there. I’m terms of profit/loss on holdings I kind of view it that every dog has its day and this much like their forebears have always been a bit of a wildcard but it’s much easier to sit on a loss with a divvy coming in!

The SP does have its moments and I seem to remember the previous entities, especially CNKS having a couple of good goes a few years back but seems to be more on sentiment than fundamentals but if the divvy is maintained then I’m happy to have a chunky position with a little ‘hope factor’ in the mix!

Fingers crossed we don’t have to wait till 2039 for a ‘do I sell dilemma!

Held these from Finncap/cenkos days, added significantly post merger mainly on yield. A little boost today on the back of peel update maybe,time will tell. Thoughts anyone?

Hi Sam, agreed and with another 2 cent div in the mix(I think), that’s pretty much a redemption/buyback from us very close to the latest nav so buying now is is 6-7p discount to the market. Added a few more earlier but the market rarely gets it wrong so haven’t gone bonkers on them. Worst case at least more income for the big mix.

There are variables with exchange rates and maybe risk on the ones left after this but no more risk than any other income share imo.

Assume they buy them all back in and go private there’s income along the way and the discount to nav factored in argument is mitigated. Good luck all.
