My little Rosie passed away a few weeks ago so been heartbroken etc over that.

I’d say Trump is more unpopular than Putin worldwide now and gambling his greed with our money makes Truss and Kwazi look far more favourably!

Should put us on the radar at least, invested for yield and the fact someone wanted to offer 10p over the recent SP has got to be a positive going forwards..see what happens.

That’s my point Troj, a strong and respected leader here would balance some of the lunacy in all directions because they’d be relevant and respected on the world stage.

We might not have the biggest military but our heritage and innovation must count for something surely?

Aside of our starting the Industrial Revolution and ending slavery,inventing just about everything we have a commonwealth which is more than most ex colonials have(especially the French lol) so we should have influence and we don’t.

Exactly, the strong leaders, the tyrants and the betwixt don’t respect us because we’re behaving like a bunch of apologetic numpties!

Whenever we’ve had strong leaders we wouldn’t be kowtowing to anyone and frankly not being first in the queue to meet the new president of the worlds largest economy and military says it all!

Even under Boris we’d have had that!

On this one difficult to call as ‘in play’ , ask me this time tomorrow lol!

In terms of income that’s a big one or an easy one, I’ll take the latter….real estate trusts, renewables trusts and infrastructure trusts all offer chunky yields and varying discounts to nav so are great income plays . DYOR as they say and good luck!

Hi again Blue, I think the issue is weak leadership here because Britain has a role to play in balancing US strong leadership and the all over the place European leaders not to mention all the other like China,Russia etc where the common denominator is strong(wrong but strong) leadership.

We had it with Churchill, Thatcher even Blair as in when we spoke people listened.

We don’t have it now and with who’s in and who’s out I don’t see it unless maybe some like Priti Patel ,Farage or Braverman who are balsy enough to be listened to.

I remember Maggie handbagging the Euros and keeping Reagan etc on the right hook but frankly I despair of our world influence currently with these idiots wrecking our economy,giving away what few territories we still own and with what’s over the pond etc we need strength to regain influence and respect!

Troj not sure about this global warming malarkey as it’s blooming freezing out today except when I was chopping wood earlier!

Let’s hope we don’t get undersold because there’s strong recovery potential here and a cracking yield while we wait! Recently cashed in on BBGI which was a similar scenario and last year on BCPT but this one different as it’s a stronger income one in a relatively safe sector.

We all have biased views on when we bought as in averages but also hold PHP/CRT which will hopefully get a boost like the infras did after BBGI.

Three scenarios imo:-

Offer qualified at ? price,presumably nav plus a bit but nothing agreed.

Offer made but considering as other interest has popped up, SP well up!

Plenty of other trusts etc to replace the income but nothing agreed as easy as pretty ‘up there’ now on income and as ever depends when you bought/price on your plans. GLA

Hi Troj, glad the ponds okay, a friend down here has had some issues but took it all apart,flushed it out and working fine now!

I have got a handful of tiddlers like gem diamonds,cavendish,hss off the top of my head but this year I’ve increased the REITs and infrastructure funds as I’m mostly income, you wouldn’t want me joining your stuff mate,total kiss of death lol.

Trump getting too big for his boots already and saw something he muted about a third term which takes his disruptive ambitions too far along with Greenland,Canada, Panama etc very bizarre!
