So what’s thrown us is a rise on announcement and inexplicably the same swimming against the tide on the exd day!

Reasons, relief rally on finances going forwards, shorts closing, heavy discounted on the rights to get it away, who knows!

I’m buying the rights when they go ex Feb 3rd as an average down/investment because I like boring(mostly lol) companies that pay good divs.

Did a few shuffles for divs the last few weeks but as ever the buy list gets longer and the ‘opportunities’ to average down seems to follow, overall on reflection I’d say I was better off before labour got in but I don’t think that’s just me!!

Hopefully they’ll get their act together next year or be replaced who knows, in the meantime as long as the divs flow so does my reason for investing.

More trees planted recently and collected a truckload of seaweed earlier which is great to provide the nutrients they need(after washing off the salt!).

Real estate LAND,BLND and many more.

Investment trusts like HFEL,BRLA.

Anyway most people I know including myself have had these a few years and I always viewed them as buy under 280, sell 320 unless you held them for the yield which was pretty good a few years ago.

I’ve held on as clearly don’t want to sell at a loss and have viewed them on a recovery path, yield and SP but if a bid, bidding war hits the three quid threshold then I’ll certainly reduce if not sell up as plenty of stuff around with 6-8% yields elsewhere as I’m predominantly an income investor.

The resurgence of farmers markets, organics, rewilding field edges, proper food in farm shops a problem to them perhaps?

My grandparents made a living on a 14 acre poultry farm but never made any money because to them it was a lifestyle and lucky for them were pretty much retirement when battery farming arrived, you can imagine my views on that mate!
