If it was a purely internal Mongolian affair it surely would have happened in Ullanbator with Mr Buck attending.
Mongolian officials coming to the Isle of Mann must be something else?
Incorperating a new Company/Joint Venture?

Good points. If Mongolian Govt wants to buy a 10% - 20% Equity stake in MATD given the massive Upside ahead, then yes you would register your shareholding in a Tax Haven and why not.
Why travel to the Isle of Man- is that normal? I doubt it.
Why all stand for photo’s after an insignificant meeting?
The visit is significant- we just don’t know why.
Renewables? I don’t think so if it’s MMHI and MRPAM….
I used to work at the Dept for Enterprise (previously Dept of Economic Dev) on IoM. I can verify the photos are taken at St George's House, Douglas and that the attendees include Minister Tim Johnson MHK, Peter Greenhill MLC ( Member of DfE with respect for finance) and senior civil servant Simon Pickering. While not unusual for DfE to receive delegates from overseas govts, the presence of our CEO and the boss of Crowe Trust indicates there has to have been a company specific agenda . Excellent work Master!
Mullins58 - Is Mike Buck in ALL those pictures? AMAZING!
Please that you posted it Master but the build up "tra la la" and the lip smacking sanctimony of a few posters on here wasn't really required I don't think. IMO.
I used to live in the Isle of Man , no one goes there without a very good reason. GLA
I think some on here no matter how good the news will always be negative
If LP is given. They will why is rig not on site.
You cant please everyone.
But this meeting mist have significance otherwise they could have just held it in Mongolia.
Why come to Isle of man.
Maybe we will find out soon.

Very good point. May be Mongolian Govt looking to Buy a stake in MATD and went to register their shareholding.
Very intriguing though in a very nice way.
The UK Govenment has been quite vocal recently about our expertise in Wind Generation.
Might we be exporting our knowledge and expertise here??
I guess we might be told at some point?
When was the meeting?
What are Govt ministers from both MMHI and MRPAM doing in MATD office in Isle of Man !!!
Could very well be presenting Mike Buck with the Self Certification for Block XX....which Mike holding tightly in that Folder close to his chest. Hmmm
Curiouser I don’t think anyone has suggested that?
AND - if that were it, there would have been an RNS this morning, don’t you think?
I may have got the letters the wrong way around and I'm speculating and hoping of course but my thinking was more around some kind of Mongolian Gov injection of funds into the company.
No doubt as master says all and more good news on the way.
Whatever the intention was for the meeting and whatever the reason for holding it in IOM we can definitely say this is all good news and things are moving in the right direction for PI's.
No doubt as master says all and more hood news on the way.
Looks very optimistic for all LTH and swing traders and shorter will be left stranded
//I think it is more significant that the MPRAM people have mysteriously appeared on the island where Petro Matd have their registered office and sit in a meeting there with our CEO and notaries.//
Are you seriously trying to suggest that the Mongolian cabinet have flown over to the Isle of Man to sign the special purpose certificate?
.... and its MRPAM btw
Rounds of golf with the oil rigs as pins and the bore holes as the golf holes just you do not get your ball back when you sink your putt.
I think it is more significant that the MPRAM people have mysteriously appeared on the island where Petro Matd have their registered office and sit in a meeting there with our CEO and notaries.
Amazing news. I am surprised that some guys don't understand the importance of the meeting with MATD CEO present.
Thanks Mast.
Guys this is another confirmation of LP.
It shows ongoing Petro Matad involvement with Mongolia's plans for mining and oil.
It's difficult to see why the Mongolian Government would involve Petro Matad if they didn't think that they were going to be integral to their plans going forward.
Petro Matad, new exploration blocks, Heron Land Permit, Oil refinery and pipeline construction.
Isle of Mann/Off Shore investment? For what? The above looks to be covered already?
Left field funding for their Green/Wind/Solar plans?
No i agree all supports the line that PM could become a major player in Mongolia and a major facilitator. Interesting times ahead but on another note is PM quoted on the Mongolian Stock Exchange. I gather they do have one and would have thought it would be a good way for the locals to have an active say in this.
Thanks for posting Master. Have to say I’m not familiar with who the people are, but that is a reflection of my level of research. I suspect anyone knocking it doesn’t understand who the visitors are either. Easy to be disparaging when you don’t understand what you are looking at.
And, as you say, flying here for this meeting can only be seen as a commitment and willingness to make things happen which we have not seen before.you don’t build relationships in this way to screw someone over.
What people need to understand that you can't just tag along to a meeting with government representatives because you are a CEO of an AIM listed company .
There must be something big happening for MB to attend all the way in Isle of man
