As Wise Owl says.
Matd firmly back into my buy range again.
"The way to get the Mongolian authorities to listen and act on concerns is to dissuade those thinking of investing in the country by bringing to their attention the myriad pitfalls of investing." What a great idea - or an attempt to reach the left ear through the right Lol..
We must think about ourselves and not how to protect others. And do everything to force these Mongolian robbers and their henchman MB to reckon with us, stop the robbery and force to return the loot.
Are - at least temporarily - going down. Which is not surprising as long as nothing positive is being communicated by MATD.
MON - all completely irrelevant. We have a Plan A and a Plan B!
Aeschylus, your suggestion of targeting those thinking of investing in Mongolia is spot on. In the upcoming election (28 June) both principal parties will be burnishing their credentials on improving investment into the country. The need to do so is highlighted in the latest World Bank report. The current government recently held a major event in Mongolia where Rio Tinto, of all companies, extolled the virtues of investing in the country (RT have had years of turbulence trying to manage a corrosive Mongolian investment climate!). One can only speculate on why RT spoke in defence of the country. There are multiple foreign investors tied up in legal proceedings or utilising other mechanisms to try and get redress from the way that they have been treated in Mongolia . The Mongolian courts cannot be trusted to be impartial (read the US State Department report on Human Rights etc) and to deal fairly with foreign companies with grievances. Yet foreign organisations are being lured into investing in a country that they are almost universally incapable of managing levels of corruption (again see the US report) and the consequences which stem from this. MATD I fear is a victim of this environment. The way to get the Mongolian authorities to listen and act on concerns is to dissuade those thinking of investing in the country by bringing to their attention the myriad pitfalls of investing. Anyone who has any potential media connections could do worse than flag this up.
Ojay, yes, the latest Progressive Research note states 23.6p as their latest RENAV estimation, so predictions of 10-bags may not actually be wildly off but, as you say, it's the time it takes to get there. Even with the LP signed and Heron on stream relatively soon after, I just can't see it rocketing up to 15, 20p just like that...I think it would be lot slower climb. My "pragmatism" or "cautiousness" driving my judgement perhaps, but as always I'd love to be proven wrong.
Either way, lets just get this bleeeding LP signed before we start dreaming...
Wigster: Well, if you give it some time it may just turn out to be a 10-bagger.
But serious: Predictions concerning the PS are actually stupid - and I agree with anyone who holds the predictor liable for any such claim: respective credibility deteriorates - needless to say that that is not good.
Ah I guess this has already been done
Yes, no need for any more predictions. Hamm confirmed a few weeks ago that we would be seeing a 10-bagger here.
"Enjoy the rise guys.
10 bagger no doubt = LP/H production"
I can't wait!!! Only a few days to go, as confirmed by WOS today!!!
Manro. I didn't suggest doing nothing. I suggested responding to social media posts by those trying to promote the value of investing in Mongolia as I believe these are the only ones who will care and may have the power to influence. I believe in strategic effective approaches that gets noticed.
However if shareholders want to spend what ever it costs to get to London and shout outside the embassy for an hour (activity that will be of no interest to anyone who is not invested in Mongolia and will, if anything underscore how few people it affects) then of course that is their right.
Ffs, please no price predictions again.
Price predictions? I am going for 12p
Also this is cross party committee so show Foreign Investment support across political parties.
Mr Doc - Correct but like today did want to share Info re: Local governors call before Parliament to answer about issues like Special Permits, overlap issues (post 07:18 today).
At least people have option to read if they think important or not - i think very interesting after Mining Mining Minister complaint to Parliament last Friday.
I did think Plan B Special Certification will be after election (Plan A local permission before) - now I think we maybe even see Special Certification before but let us see.
In meantime I watch talk of 'Manro's March' with trusted supporters Mr Hamm & Master so this keep me entertain Lol (but good luck).

Aeschylus, no offence but when I write about sheep I mean people with a mentality like yours. Those who havenāt done anything yet but already sure that they can change nothing. Yes, a gathering of 20 people can go unnoticed. But without doing anything, you are already unnoticed and will remain so. Can this really suit a person who has at least a small sense of self-esteem?
In addition, if we fail to attract attention the first time, then why canāt we gather a week latter and not 20 but 120 people with our supporters around us. Not to mention that we can and should notify the main mass-media yet today about our upcoming action.
WOS - didnāt you say you werenāt going to post here for a while? Or did I misread that?
Everybody who intend to turn up outside Mongolian Embassy on 31st May at 11:00am with banner should put name on BB to pledge this support - then we can see who actually turn up & who is just BB talker.
So far we have -
1. Manro - Leader of protest
2. Hamm
3. Master
(Anyone else please add nane to list - also if protestors post demonstration pictures on Social Media then we can also follow suggestions of Mr Aesychlus).
Maybe also Mr Manro can explain to everyone about his Petro Matad Compensation Scheme to BB (post 17th May 12:24).
How much will each interested Shareholder pay into your 'Compensation Account'?
I will keep focus on Investment but do not think few shareholder who turn up for day outside Mongolian Embassy do any harm - even if I think you are just all talking on BB with no show on day - I wish you good time š
*Remember there is always sell button š

What about if we all turned up as Yaks?
The activists is running for an election. We might have a better chance with her.
I think 20 people turning up outside the Mongolian embassy in London will attract zero media interest and have no effect or influence.
However, honest factual comments, made on social media posts aimed at attracting foreign investment to Mongolia, about the difficulties PM has faced (and continues to face) might.
WOS, I have said nothing insulting, just pointing the facts of what you have posted and constantly rambling... worse than a parrot!
Hamm,
my answer to your question re sending email to Mongolia embassy is No. The time for asks and appeals has passed. We must, stop humiliating ourself. Itās time to understand that stopping robbery and theft with appeals is not only useless. Its deeply humiliating too.
Look what one such humiliated idiot writes and how he is supported by a paid troll āNone of you will turn up, just go back to Bed.ā
This troll is clearly worried not for himself, but for the MB and how, hiding behind lies, he has been parasitizing on our investments for 6 years, considering us weak-willed and incapable to act. And while we will endure this open robbery he will be right.
Therefore, itās time to wake up and act without delay. Otherwise, soon the moment will come when we will bitterly regret that missed the chance to force the robbers to reckon with us and return the loot.
I can't see it going bust. They will have to raise money. Which is expected.
Mb needs to start giving interviews on Bloomberg and spread the message of legal action as the governor is not acting on the cabinet approval.
"Matd will go bust if we don't get Heron up and running this year."
Blimey, Hamm. You've gone from "guaranteed golden tickets" to "we'll be bust by year end", all in a matter of weeks!
Haven't been silent enough. 5 years and still waiting.
We have got nothing to loose really.
MB is gutless by not speaking up/ challenging Mongolian government, on the contrary he keeps saying MG has been supportive. Can't see any support.
Matd will go bust if we don't get Heron up and running this year.
Already nearly mid year. Drilling season limited.
