Aber - I am a stock market investor and probably can afford more than TM orJR. They may not own other stocks - or simply have no cash at present. It doesn't bother me.
I want Sar and my investment to succeed, and supporting the offer will help. If offer and placements are oversubscribed the SP will subsequently rise.
Aber, maybe that's all he can afford. He gets a decent salary but we all live up to what we can afford. I work for a living as do lost here but most of my investments are locked away do I dont have the option to liquidate anything so for me, my extra buys are from my disposable income slush fund. Maybe JR is in the sane boat.
Thanks Elcap

Robin with the raise + tax credits more chance of a License deal on good P1a data than this failing / feels like the for sale board is up highest bidder most likely not the billions that some talk of but on results any deal should be substantially above the current Mk Cap / value play DYOR
just tried my 2, x-o and iweb. don't facilitate it, which i take to mean can't be ****d. need to find a decent broker
Nice
your showing yourself up here... Robin left you with a 'to do list' has he...
No go for me with Halifax so grabbed a decent amount on the open market not really bothered about 10% lets see how things pan out wont be at all surprised if SRA737 now shows itself in the not distant future.
Seems a great deal if you were in the know and this announcement was going to be made today.
'Keep in mind this Retail Offer will close no later than 10am on Tuesday 2 April 2024 and may close earlier'
Why would there be such a short time frame to allow current investors to purchase shares if they need the money so badly
Thanks for the reply Seawolf. I shall now grind my teeth and just wait for the new tax year to add directly via my ISA.
Onwards!
Ordered mine through the II app on my phone without any issues (hopefully).
I phoned 10 mins before the post, they told me that they do not participate in retail offers. Effectively no service at all!
Open a HL account takes two minutes they did mine in 10 minutes.
Good luck to all
It’s been a hard week
Dr Zed, you have to log into ii and it comes up as a corporate action
If you wanted to put a large amount of cheap shares into an ISA the timing couldn’t be better…!!
If you want to subscribe to the WRAP offer and have not been contacted by your broker you should contact them ASAP bearing in mind this is a holiday weekend and the offer closes 10am on Tuesday ... But you have to be a current shareholder to qualify ... BTW ... This is not advice to buy or financial advice.
Anyone had any luck with Barclays?
Well I got through to ii and applied for shares over the phone. They did tell me if you can get online (not through their app) you can go to portfolio, corporate actions and do it yourself
Completed share offer application via HL so have a decent sized order in, have a feeling they will be oversubscribed.
Closed Friday and Monday so not a lot of time.
If you are not fast you will be last.
Regards to all LTH
Seawolf - when did you contact them? It might be that the target figure has been reached and the offer is now closed - just a thought.
Thanks for the update Seawolf. I was trying to get through to Halifax when your post popped up so it's saved me a wait.
Regards.
Ladies/Gents, I need some help!
It appears that Lloyds/Halifax are not able to help me purchase shares through the announced retail offer. Does anyone know how I can take part and transfer shares to my lloy account?
Alternatively I have to purchase through the open market and get shafted again. GRRRRR
Aber
Thats up to you of course
But dont miss the opportunity
Mathsprof .. "It's good to support the retail offer. They need the new cash"
So we support SAR as they need the cash .. as LTHERS have done for years" ?
So what are your thoughts on why John Reader is not putting any of his money in a TM etc are probably putting less in than many on here ???
PS : I know they are contributing 22K in shares (deferred salary) but please note that is 22K from a rise in salary of 50K
Does not look to me like they are going to wager as much as some on here !!!
NOT me by the way ... JR's lack of contribution has put me right off supporting them further
And how has it all gone since Nov 2023...enough to change anyone's mind (other than the Uber ramps obviously).....jeez there are some simple folk on here
Not so nicely, I'll remind you of you post from late last year...

Ahfam3, don't rise to these people trying to put down your comments, you need to look at why someone would do that, an owner of a stock does not knock his/her investment, these people use the excuse that there needs to be a balance, in my experience that is rubbish, they have their own agenda, remember there is no such thing as a bad or good company, it all about timing, entry point and exit point.
