SOFTWARE RADIO TECHNOLOGY PLC AWARD OF CONTRACT The Directors of Software Radio Technology plc ("SRT") are pleased to announcethat they have been informed that Tianjin Communication & Broadcasting GroupCorporation Limited ("TCB"), one of SRT's TETRA technology licence customers,has been awarded a contract to supply TETRA handsets to a major agency of theChinese Government.Following an extensive trialling process, TCB has been awarded a contract foran initial delivery of TETRA handsets which are expected to be manufactured anddelivered to the customer over the next three months. TCB has informed SRT thatfurther substantial orders from this agency can be expected in the future.TCB is a major, government-owned Chinese electronics manufacturer, developingand producing a range of products, from professional railway communicationsproducts to mobile phones. TCB licensed SRT's TETRA handset reference design in2005 and has been working in conjunction with various official agencies andother international end user customers to create a robust TETRA handset. Thehandset is now in the final stage of testing prior to production and thereforesales activity has commenced.Mr Ma, TCB's Vice President said:"TETRA will be a very large market in China and we have been working closelywith several government agencies in respect of our new handset. Ourrelationship with SRT has enabled us to quickly create the handset our endcustomers wanted, which is why we have been awarded this contract.
