Software Radio Technology plc ("SRT" or the "Company") Issue of Equity

The Directors of SRT announce that they have issued and allotted 60,000 new ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the Company as a result of the receipt of a notice of conversion of warrants in the Company at 40p per share.

Following the issue of the new shares, there are 88,910,892 ordinary shares of 0.1p of SRT in issue with each share carrying the right to one vote. This figure includes the issue of 1,040,000 new ordinary shares announced on 12 July 2007 which are expected to be admitted to AIM on 18 July 2007. There are 11,292,850 warrants to subscribe for ordinary shares in issue.

Application will be made for the new shares to be admitted to AIM. It is expected that admission will occur on 20 July 2007.
