Trading update
International Greetings PLC, one of the world's leading designers, innovators and manufacturers of gift wrap, crackers, cards, stationery and accessories, announces the following trading update.
The business has maintained good progress during the first half and sales and profit for the six months to 30th September 2011 have grown in line with expectations.
The relocation of our manufacturing facilities in China to maintain our competitive position is on track. We are pleased to confirm that we have successfully completed Christmas season manufacturing requirements and have benefited from receiving earlier commitments from customers.
We continue to enjoy significant business with value mass-market retailers across the globe, including growth in Everyday greetings card activities.
The Group will publish its Interim Results for the six months ended 30th September 2011 on 6th December 2011.
