International Greetings PLC, one of the world's leading designers, innovators and manufacturers of gift wrap, crackers, cards, stationery and accessories, is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Lawrinson as Finance Director. Anthony will replace Sheryl Tye, who has been Finance Director since September 2008, and this change will take effect from 3 October when Anthony joins.

Anthony has extensive experience in financial management roles, working at both operational and group levels, driving business change across organisations to deliver results and create value and growth. Anthony's most recent role was Group Finance Director at Reliance Security Group, a market leader in the provision of manpower and electronic security solutions, facilities management and specialist business processes. 

Prior to that he was CFO at Airwave Solutions Ltd (formerly O2 Airwave, a division within the O2 Group). Anthony has also held the role of Group Treasurer at O2 PLC and Hickson International PLC while they were publicly listed, as well as senior group positions within British Telecommunications. Anthony trained and qualified with PWC as a Chartered Accountant and is a qualified Corporate Treasurer.

Sheryl has been Finance Director since September 2008 and has made a considerable contribution to the successful turnaround of the Group in her role.
