Annual Financial Report and Notice of AGM
Auto Trader Group plc (LSE: AUTO, "Auto Trader" or the "Company"), the UK's largest digital automotive marketplace, has posted its Annual Report and Financial Statements for the year ended 31 March 2020 (the "Annual Report") to shareholders.
The Company also announces that its 2020 Annual General Meeting will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday 16 September 2020, at the Company's registered office: 4th Floor, 1 Tony Wilson Place, Manchester M15 4FN, United Kingdom. As at the date of this announcement, the UK Government has prohibited indoor public gatherings, save in certain limited circumstances. In light of these measures, the AGM will be run as a closed meeting and shareholders will not be able to attend in person. The Company will ensure that the legal requirements to hold the AGM can be satisfied through the attendance of a minimum number of Directors or employee shareholders, either in person or by electronic means.
Although shareholders are not able to attend the AGM in person this year, shareholder engagement and participation remains important to Auto Trader. The Company strongly encourages shareholders to participate in the business of the AGM by alternative means including voting by proxy or sending any questions in advance to ir@autotrader.co.uk.
Copies of the Annual Report and Notice of Annual General Meeting have been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will be shortly available for inspection at http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM
