How many times do we hear that the next RNS is going to ignite the SP... only to later learn that the news has supposedly "already" been priced in by the market!?!

At this rate, I'm seriously starting to wonder if the market has already "priced in" 1) K4 commercial results, 2) production license approval & 3) Sale of god knows how many barrels of oil...

I am still trying to get my head around how the same company with prospects but no commercial proof is now worth less when we have proven two commercial wells, are testing a third and have already sold $1 million of oil?

Does this make sense to anyone... because it certainly does not to me!

It may have escaped your notice - being as your such an expert - BUT: whenever there is a distinct and protracted lack of news... the MM's take full advantage and drop the SP. Doh!

Unless our great leader pulls his finger out... I reckon you could be able to get in as low as 1.5p very soon.

I guess even the MM's are getting bored with waiting for an update now and - FOR ONCE - who could blame them!

...and we're down 10%.

For all the folk out there who just love to say the MM's have no influence on an SP and it's simply a market of supply v demand... clearly it's not working then is it?

The management of this company need to learn to "COMMUNICATE" with shareholders IMHO.

Without the reports from "The Eyes" the SP here would have crashed...and the trolls would have had a field day spreading rumours of dry wells and site issues.

The one thing we can be "categorically" certain of when considering company self-imposed deadlines... is that ALL AIM companies somehow manage to miss them ;-)

We're all here to dream Will... otherwise why bother risking your investment?

Not too far fetched a price as a longer term figure IMHO. Not going to happen this year, but if all goes to plan then not an unrealistic target for 2019...

although I appreciate most traders won't be around still to witness it by then ;-)

Can a company NOT be valued fully for it's prospects (because it is NOT YET a producer) whilst simultaneously be "aligned" to the up's and down's of the price of oil (which it does not yet produce)

I simply thought "existing" shareholders would benefit... yourself included? Obviously I was wrong.

Clearly most people are happy to give away shareholder's money to the city boys. And you honestly think THEY are going to buy at 9p and NOT sell out... blimey!

Thank God for "the eyes" because without them we wouldn't have a clue what was going on here and the SP would already be half its current value.

I sold half / kept half. Still "significantly" invested here.

Not trying to de-ramp at all... just stating the obvious: a 9p placing with sentiment and the SP where it is currently makes no sense at all unless we "as shareholders" are feeling exceptionally generous towards the city boys?

I think they could do a placing at a higher price right now to existing shareholders. I "honestly" would be happy to invest more at say 10 or 11P even... wouldn't you? Wouldn't anyone?

We should vote the placing down and offer the company the money ourselves. I would be happy to subscribe for shares at 9p... who wouldn't!!!!!

Whilst I appreciate companies are unable to deliver RNS's always at regular intervals... UKOG seem to go out of their way to leave investors in the dark ... What ever happened to interviews / PR / even Tweets for god's sake!?!?

As someone else on here suggested... maybe you've taken up a vow of silence?

The market apparently judges us to be in a worse place today (awaiting Havieron news) than we were last year (awaiting Ernest Giles news).

My reasoning for this is based upon the way the market currently values other similar companies in this sector. Companies like Thor and Metal Tiger have done very well in the past on hype and promises... but have since had their SP's squashed by the market, who are now IMHO demanding "genuine" proof of progress.

No if's, buts or maybe's; GGP need to deliver THIS time!

Jeffry, the sell off today has nothing whatsoever to do with PI's not understanding the RNS. Take a look at the buys v sells... even allowing for reporting inaccuracy, there's clearly no reason for a 35% drop in SP. The market has over sold - and the market will now "allow" an SP retrace in anticipation of the next RNS we were all expecting anyway.

At these prices... time to lock and load IMHO :-)

Look no further than Marshall Wace and their merry bunch of shorters for the share price dip. They will play this - together with the MM's naked shorting alongside for good measure (no doubt) - until we have positive news...

I thought 43 was the bottom... Hopefully a retrace soon!
