Agreed. Something clearly fishy here!

If the SP had retraced above 15p on the last RNS (as I believed it should!) then I would have had more confidence. The current situation leaves me suspicious that there's yet more pain to suffer as shareholders before we see any significant and sustained improvement here.

Shorts reporting is always delayed and not 100% accurate either. Also below threshold shorts can be held via multiple accounts as BigBiteNow alluded to. Sad to say, the SP is obviously being heavily and systematically shorted here.

If RH is even the slightest bit vindictive... which this year's slow damaging sell-off is surely testament too? Then I can see him maintaining a short position against the company here - even after he has officially sold.

He could well be adding to a short position as and when he sells off stock. Certainly looks like there is some serious manipulation going on here - given the future potential of Amer. This sorry affair has gone on for so long now... I'm starting to wonder not "when" but "if" it will ever end?

Clearly this CANNOT be blamed on PI's selling up... just look at Buys V Sells!!!!! (even allowing for misreporting onsite they are streets ahead on buy volume).

I've had the bulk of mine for 2 1/2 years. Sold a few on the spikes, but always retain a larger holding.

I NEVER add now unless the price is well below 1p... because it always ends up back there at some stage... regardless of potential, or RNS releases.

If it's any consolation....

Most of my AIM shares SP's are being sat on by the MM's at the moment and they are all being impeded by additional flies in their ointment. Our fly here is RH and the sooner he buzzes off into obscurity THE BETTER FOR EVERYONE!

At least with higher volume and on the back of good news we should be rid of him sooner with any luck.

Clearly the MM's are naked shorting their (Possibly as high as 10% holding) though... otherwise the past two days trading makes no sense whatsoever. Maybe they're unwinding their own position?

Something's got to give. That is a certainty!

Sadly, the MM's will play this like a fiddle as they probably have a 6 week window before we get further updates now.

I doubt anything short of a stellar RNS will do anything for the SP in the meantime... In truth... as much as I hate to admit it... Mr Market has already been sold too many false dawns here.

I'm coming back to check on this in mid November :-(

I agree that it's often difficult to say see or buy with any certainty - but those are definitely BUYS... unless the MM's have been exceptionally generous today - and let's face it... it's just not in their nature! ;-)

I had a hunch a while back that EG was being deftly moved from the limelight. Lessons learned. I still remain hopeful that things will come good here eventually... Just need to extend my horizon lines and continue holding.

Late October / early November might bring more good news, but sadly I don't see any life-changing RNS's until 2019 now.

Seems like Ernest Giles has been kicked into the long grass and now we're all awaiting great things from Havieron and Black Hills now... instead...

Whilst I have no doubt either of these "could" come good (in time) I have sadly lost faith in the BOD here over the past year and think this is now one for the bottom drawer until a JV / Buy Out is a "serious" proposition.

The MM's are not going to re-rate this on hot air anymore... we now need solid bankable facts.

I have "honestly" never seen a company more ripe for an aggressive takeover than Amerisur - especially given current sentiment and the current SP valuation of the company.

There's got to be someone playing this IMHO
