No thanks... I am all in favour of some site activity news to stabilise the SP so we don't drop so low that any good news merely gives us a retrace back to where we left off...

I trust Paul Johnson over the market makers any day! Half the reason he is singled out for criticism IMHO is due to his forthright appraisal of the current corrupt system. "They" don't like to hear it!

Market manipulation and naked shorting are the only reasons most AIM shares (especially explorers / miners) find themselves repeatedly in the doldrums regardless of future potential.

Been here for far too long to worry about short term SP manipulation. SP price goes up / price goes down... price spikes / price crashes... yawn...yawn...yawn...

Happy to sit and wait - as every week / month that passes, this share is further de-risked and stands to gain more longer term value IMHO.

For all those frustrated share holders out there... set a higher sell if you really have to... and simply turn off your computer screens and come back here in a few months time. I honestly think none of us will be quibbling over single digit penny SP prices by then!

For those that argue that UKOG is over valued... tell me that when the Kim layers are proved up and we are drilling further wells.

Filter the noise & remember "patience and persistence always pays off in the end".

AIM is not fit for purpose.

Makes no difference what news is released at the moment... the MM's decide where to take it and frequently naked short anything likely to rise.

No oversight from the "financial ombudsman" (what a joke they are!) and no interest from government in changing anything... nothing PI's can do other than vote with their wallets - leave AIM and invest elsewhere!

Odd... that people who are actually "invested" here want the SP and value of the company to rise isn't it Can'tReadTheCandles?

I guess the same goes in reverse for those that are NOT invested...

This is a positive RNS because the options have an exercise of 1.4p & 2p - obviously significantly above the current SP value and demonstrating "further" confidence that the company is on track to deliver...

MM's are clearly naked shorting their stock here. You really would think that they made enough money through trades without having to shaft investors too... but this is the current market we're stuck with and the FCA are a complete and utter waste of time and will continue to do NOTHING until someone finally decides to make them "truly" independent.

Seems bizarre that such a corrupt system is allowed to continue in this day and age... and my hope is that - like the banks before them - they will be paying out compensation claims to millions of us in years to come for the devious and dishonest practices currently being allowed in plain sight of the so called market overseeing authority.

Nobody with half a brain gives any credence to the "tall tales" spouted on this BB by our resident Homer Simpsons...

2018 was "supposedly" the year that mining stock valuations were to make a come back.

Could someone please tell the MM's - as they are obviously still naked shorting mining companies to within an inch of their lives!

Seems to me that the more info we have here from the crew on the ground over at HH is beneficial to all Weald players & investors?

News of activity, oil tankers etc... certainly helps to offset the terminable long silent pauses which our lovely MM's would otherwise use to pull the SP's pants down even more repeatedly!

Pics, comment, Tweets, RNS's (when they eventually land) , broker notes, press articles... are ALL valuable research info which is better to have than not IMHO.

The only problem with this share is the MM strangle hold.

As an "explorer" my guess is that they will look to sell on JV their discoveries..... Doh!

From this morning's negativity and MM's manipulation of the pre-RNS SP until now are like night versus day.

Always remember: Rule number one in AIM:

Never sell when the MM's drop the SP on low volume and "all" the trolls emerge. It's AIM's special way of telling you there's good news about to land!

And you really are a stock virgin if you don't agree with Bandit's summary.

SP's are "always" manipulated by the market makers... and this morning is "just another" in a long list of examples.

Choice is easy: sell up and move on... or sit tight and wait for the inevitable rise "rinse and repeat" until GGP can post good news that even the market cannot manipulate.

I'm happy to wait... but each to their own :-)

Certainly no justification for a 10%+ drop looking at today's share trades...

Volume low - and sells / buys more or less equal - not enough to justify the SP fall. Happy to hold onto what I have and add more...
