Trolls and Yellow Cards24 Sep 2018 16:31
I am invested in several AIM companies and comment now and then on them on the BB.
I also follow quite a few more (either where I have been previously invested or am considering making a first investment) but I rarely comment on shares in which I am not invested, unless I can offer constructive advice "without" sounding condescending to those already knowledgeably invested.
The issue I have with trolls (we all know them by name!) is that they drool over every SP dip or crash, and seem to take genuine pleasure in the misfortune of other investors at such times. They also clearly fabricate time-lines - offering smug advice "after the event" whilst pretending they saw the news coming weeks or months before. They always "apparently" buy in at the lowest price and sell out at the highest peak, and really love to gloat each time they achieve this miracle!
Memory lapses on previous posts betray many, whilst a short fuse and inability to adhere to BB rules catches out many more.
It beggars belief that such cretins exist and flourish in our society, but I guess the world is home to all sorts!
I am greatful to LSE however, in that their new BB terms are fully and frequently policed, and the conversations here are infinitely better as a direct result.
GL A LTH's :-)
