If we need another placing, then I personally would be "delighted" that this is done through a firm supporter of GGP - as opposed to the Atlas's and Bergen's of this world who simply sell out at the first sniff of a profit and make PI's life's a misery on the whole.

Although many of us here have probably read the AIM rulebook (i.e: a cover with no pages between) It still stings when - in any other walk of life - a negative report like this one would be considered illegal due to a blatant conflict of interest!

"One fine day" these practices will be outlawed - just like similar market abuse was outlawed for the bankers before them... and when that day comes, I - for one - will celebrate by making a very large personal claim.

Reading between the lines:

So I take it from The Telegraph article that institutional Investors have now "finally" decided that UKOG is for real and would like private Investors to sell up and run for cover so they can buy in on the cheap (as usual). I have two words: first word begins with an F and the second word begins with an O!

Whatever news is eventually due... nobody can argue that GGP are riding on strong positive sentiment at the moment.

I had anticipated a slow retrace until November, but I see the SP is holding up well and plenty of buys showing in anticipation which is a bonus.

1) Unlike many other AIM companies we're not sitting here wondering "if" or "when" the company is going to make money - it already is by the bucket load!!!!

2) We're not all sitting nervously awaiting a potential fund raise or further share dilution - because we are already "comfortably" self-funded and profitable

3) We don't need to get out our calculators to work out if Amer offers value against current MCAP, because - at current rates of return and against a climbing oil price - our cash in the bank will likely exceed it, if it if our SP doesn't budge.

In all my investing years, I have never seen such an undervalued company on AIM and I have happily been building a nice large stake here as a consequence.

Thank you RH and our lovely MM's for making my life easier on AIM for once :-)

Atlas last converted £100,000 which led to 9,848,892 new ordinary shares being submitted only yesterday!

Sadly, that still leaves a colossal over-hang of potential new shares still outstanding! It's not the spread that's killing the SP, it's the deal with Atlas! :-(

...& if Mysquar go on to make just 10p per week average from their existing 20 million users that's £100 million per year coming in....

You might want to buy a calculator to check your maths there!

Whilst the story here could play out over time, I am mindful that the hot season is fast approaching and the need for further funding will raise its ugly head again no doubt... in the meantime Ernest Giles has been firmly kicked into the long grass and the marching band are playing the hopeful Havieron soundtrack now instead.

Given the poor market reaction to the last RNS's, if the SP spikes "yet again" my gut instinct will be to sell out my entire holding, as I just don't buy into the hype here any more... and sadly I think many more will trade this time too.

I believe the problem really is one of dented confidence here for many.

Fact: Oil tankers leaving in bulk... no more "egg cup" tall tales (TW)... just big full tankers of FULL PRICED oil for sale in commercial volume.

Nothing left to short here I'm afraid... your time is "finally" up - and good riddance to the lot of you!

Don't know where you got that info from... but it's wrong. Both Angus and UKOG are able to sell oil from their EWT at "full price".

I really don't understand the bickering between investors for these two companies. I'm personally invested in both. I look forward to BOTH succeeding.

Thought I would change the "tired old 6p tune" of the shorts - they do hate a positive title.

1) We already have a production license to print money from oil sales.

2) Additional bonus: we can even sell the oil we extract whilst the tests are running (Just like UKOG)

Yes... this means we have incoming revenues and don't need further funding IMHO

Can't see why there would be any further need for a placing... given we will be exporting our own oil shortly and generating ample profit from this. Even the test work should be generating additional profit from oil sales!?!?!

Water is only an "issue" for folk who do not understand oil production... Not worth discussing in depth because it is "at best" a technicality which is easily and frequently dealt with in many drills.

Do us all a favour... Only need to read back through your de-ramping posts to see that you've asked the same question countless times already... either you don't listen... or you have an agenda... now I wonder which it is?
