He should just create a new account... like everyone else seems to do when they've been banned... only stick to the rules this time.

If you've ever been a company director (which I very much doubt!) then you would know that "buying" shares in a company has nothing whatsoever to say about confidence and everything to say about individual preference.

Some directors simply choose to keep their working life separate from their private investments. There's one very good reason why some directors choose not to invest in the companies they run and that's politics (the ramifications of which we are reading here)

A) When will we get some meaningful news?
B) When will the market acknowledge it in the SP?
C) Will the answer to either question be WITHIN MY LIFETIME?!!!!

Serious question: What percentage of LTH's will have been bored to death by the time this company releases it's next "significantly positive" RNS?

Even if an RNS is not warranted, surely the company just need to post a tweet confirming that the first tanker has left - it's a great milestone after all?

It's called "optimism" and we need it in spades on AIM these days. Without hope of a better future outcome and a higher SP... why bother investing in the first place?

Personally I don't see 2p being difficult to break on good solid Havieron results... and if a deal "is" forthcoming then IMHO all bets are off and anything is possible thereafter.

I guess we'll all know the answers to where this is headed sooner than later when the next RNS lands.

Been waiting on news myself about a possible placing... but TBH we are in over-sold territory now IMHO and I therefore added more to my holding an hour ago.

If a placing does emerge... my bet it will be 15p+ and has probably already been arranged on the back of last week's hype... assuming we would clear "and hold" 20p and above today. I think we'll see a slow climb back upward to the upper teens this afternoon and tomorrow - especially if we get another positive interview at 3pm.

Great interview and following the momentum driven SP rise, a great RNS... so what's the issue today ?

1) The usual traders taking their profit off the table? 2) The standard buy on rumour, sell on news brigade ? Or 3) the possibility of a leaked placing on the cards?

I intended adding more, but I'll wait for now until option 3 is either declared or denied.

Long term... none of this should matter as and when results are proved up anyway... anyone else have any thoughts?

The one thing I think all "Northerners" share is a love of jokes and a dry sense of humour ;-)

Don't know about that... but we are:

1) Fiercely loyal - to those that earn it!
2) Generous to a "T" - to those that warrant it!
3) "Always" get even with those who deserve it!

Moral of this tale: Be very VERY careful if you ever pick a fight with a traditional Yorkshireman ;-)

When you think about it... it's hardly surprising that the BOD are investing now. At current rates - especially since the SP has been walked down for well over a year, virtually none of the new potential oil discoveries, cash in bank, pipeline & recent deal is priced in yet.

22p+ before the MM's are FINALLY being reasonable (FOR NOW) after all - we were higher than that without any of the recent developments in the bag!

These purchases are a clear and unequivocal demonstration of confidence... underlining a great start to the New Year.

The BOD are best placed to know what's coming after all!

There you go Toblerone... UKOG slightly up and ANGS back down. Anyone who sold out of UKOG to buy ANGS today in the hope of making a quick buck has been had "yet again" by the MM's.

More profitable to make your investment decision and stay put!

By the way... I'm also invested in ANGS anyway... so all horse for courses for me.

That was kind of my point - I'm NOT trading UKOG. I can afford to be patient. Don't need a result now... happy to wait until the New Year and see what happens in due course... SP will be restored well above my average by then...

Let the MM's play and the day traders lose their heads in the meantime. Come back and tell me I was wrong in March next year.
