I agree with you: it is rarely a great idea to talk negatively about a share in which you are invested!

However... JPT is not NEW... he's been around forever and is jointly responsible for the share price dive bomb on the back of his "unusual" share trading (still unresolved!) and is equally responsible for the dive bomb in SP on the back of his recent forced takeover (without shareholder's having a say in this)

Why you are singing his praises is quite beyond me... although - since we're both obviously invested here, I will add that I can forgive JPT "IF" he finally gets his finger out and generates some SP growth through positive market sentiment AT LONG LAST.

Since it is perfectly possible for the market to record "correct" buy and sell information and make this freely available to investors... the reason they choose not to... and the reason it has proved impossible (via several FSA challenges) to get the current system changed... smacks of AN ATTEMPT TO DECEIVE in flashing warning lights to me.

There really can be no other sensible reason for the market to resist allowing factually correct information UNLESS it serves their purposes to deceive?

Jacksdad, The wells will be on test for at least 18 months - if not longer. They've already said they will continue right up until production... I have no problem with that.

What I do have a problem with, is no updates, no pr of any description, and no strategic marketing to get anyone other than day and swing traders to invest here.

No, "News is King" and we seem to get very little of it from our management.

Sick and tired of the SP being trashed on this long protracted silence. Folk forget that without The Eyes reporting tanker movements, we wouldn't have the faintest clue if oil was even flowing in quantity right now - and where would the SP be then?!?!

Very true. I do my research and try my best like everyone else... but the AIM pond is so muddy at times, it's virtually impossible to know who the "good" companies are.

I'm significantly invested here - and have been for a number of years - hence "even now" I still harbour a degree of scepticism!

I "tried" to raise a debate in parliament about this. I got enough supporters, but my proposal was rejected because parliament say that the FSA is responsible for such matters.

Having had repeated conversations with them, they have no intention "whatsoever" of changing the current system because it serves the purposes of the market makers i.e: makes it more difficult for private investors to figure out what the FCUK is going on.

Question: Is it not possible (technically) to provide accurate buy / sell information to everyone?

Answer: Yes... It most definitely is!

So the reason we are not given the correct information is that it serves the purpose of the MM's to deceive.

I have to remind myself that we re in 2019 sometimes... so much has changed for the better... AND SO MUCH HAS YET TO CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Given Tidswell's past history, and some yet to be resolved questions about his holdings... I doubt he fears our apparently toothless FCA that much (they've done NOTHING so far!).

His two new stooges could also be those buying up stock to later add to his own holding to keep him below the threshold.

I'm voting for Vonk, unless Tidswell offers up some open and honest dialogue about how he will be better able to offer improved value for shareholders... i.e: a buy-out / partnership deal by a major.

But anyone agree with the following theory:

1) Tidswell wants back in and already has a substantial holding in Angs (but not enough to be convinced he can win a vote of confidence against Vonk.

2) He takes out a short, drops the news and demand for re-instatement (knowing in advance the effect will have on the SP).

3) The SP drops... he makes on his short, then buys back in hard to increase his holding further, so that he has an even better chance of forcing through his own proposal onto the rest of us long-suffering shareholders.

Been trying to figure out the motivation for the sudden sabotage and this is the best I can come up with... what say the rest of you?

Guys, I'm sure we "all" respect your views and "genuinely" appreciate the time you attribute to The Weald Story...

But - for the love of God - will you give it a rest trying to score points off one another and play nice (like you managed to do for a few days at least!) We have enough hurdles here on AIM without fighting amongst ourselves (again!)

Most II's take a far longer term view (which is also my policy). If we did have a placing, I think it would be higher than Primo bought in at anyway... It just stretches the timelines to the sort of returns we are all hoping for - that's all.

I honestly believe this is the news we will hear first... then results for Havieron... then a JV (if results are exceptional)

I'm a little more wary that they could be using this time and SP momentum to get another placing away... and before I'm shot down in flames... I know "we are fully funded".

Sadly... companies always need to extend their fully funded time-lines and we have so many prospects, that if we don't get a JV... we will "inevitably" need more money to prove these up.

No good waiting until after Havieron results are posted - because unless a deal has been struck, the MM's will take the SP back down in anticipation of a lull and the PI sell off will already have begun....

If no "positive results" RNS lands by tomorrow a.m latest... we will all be able to add more before Monday.

I have confidence long term here so I've added this a.m, to an existing large holding

BUT...

I "honestly" expect another placing RNS before we get results. It's Heddle's MO and - given the current positive pr... it seems like a given to me.

As usual on AIM: a little short term pain for longer term gain - fingers crossed!
