This is a classic example of not knowing where to stop. In my opinion THG should not under any circumstance be involved beyond creating manufacturing, marketing and selling beauty products. Best practice is demonstrated by the global brand leaders non of whom are involved in designing spas or other such nonsense. This is part of the reason why the SP is so low, along with the hotels and wasteful frippery.
MM needs to focus in on the core good stuff and cut out all this distracting excess.

First my caveat, I have only recently started monitoring the DT share price, so I'm no expert, that said I have run & sold small cyber businesses so I am not exactly green on this subject. I am sure there are a lot of better informed DT watchers than me so I would be interested to understand the following, active number of users, RPU and the notional cost of acquiring and supporting each user followed by the churn rate. If I was confident of these criteria I could give you my opinion (fwiw) on what I think DT is worth. Right now its difficult to know especially with all the "noise" around the accuracy of the reporting.

Hundreds would be a wonderful result and quite frankly talk of thousands is just silly, it shows a complete lack on understanding of the product, its target market and the competitive landscape. You need a reality check my friend.

Thats a fair question so I will do my best to answer it. Whilst Ingenuity is valued at nothing, its the potential for Ingenuity to require more and more investment without delivering anything that could honestly be deemed to be game changing that makes me cautious. FWIW I have had to make similar decisions and unless you are extremely confident of the outcome because you have a team who have the appropriate experience and you have a well thought fallback plan then its only reasonable to be cautious. Whether THG have this I have no idea as I cannot see any detailed communication about it and I don't know anyone who has.
As for the other comments, ohh you have made 5 posts and they are all bashing MM, thats nonsense as I have stated I am neither for or against the guy and do my comments have to reach a numerical threshold to become valid ? Some of you need to grow up and stop behaving like children.

As a modest THG shareholder I hope all the various posters optimism is well founded. I remain cautious for a number of reasons and the first is I have yet to see anything that Ingenuity provides thats unique or even ground breaking which then leads on to the question for potential Ingenuity customers"why chose to use or partner with THG/ingenuity ?"

Until there is a clear and compelling business case to the above I remain very cautious and unless I have missed something (more than possible)| all these discussions are UK based and thats a hugely limiting factor in respect of global brands.

Okehurst is correct in saying there is no merit in invest huge amounts of money in to Ingenuity. There is absolutely nothing new let alone unique in what is does. Take a look at this link to Brandpath which the awful Peter Jones owns, its does the same sort of thing and the platform its built on is the old eXpansys platform that cost very little to develop and run. I said it an earlier post but £100m on SaaS would be a spectacularly stupid thing to do.

Let me start by saying I am not anti MM per se but he has a huge ego and the fall from the 800p SP stardom is killing him. People like him like need to move aside before they destroy the value they created, I know I have been around a few.
And all this talk is of a £100m investment in new software and systems is stupid, no one needs to spend anything like that amount to achieve what they are seeking. I don't where or who started the £100m discussion but please believe me when I say categorically that for the birds.
