I understand your point and in a broader sense I agree - my life is already to busy and full to trade in the true meaning of the phrase and that's why I class myself as an investor - sitting behind a screen all day is not for me, ditto automated traded programs..

Well your entitled to your opinion however I disagree with you. If was looking to buy any share I would still look at basic chart patterns to fine tune my buying point, over the years this has definitely paid off so even though I am an investor charts do help me.

Many many moons ago I was passionate about charts but as I got older and busier I simply stopped using them but still retain an arm's length interest.

I agree with Bob, with the sale of On-demand there is now a greater likelihood of leaving the LSE and listing in America - whether you could justify a separate listing in America for all 3 divisions remains to be seen. Whatever the outcome is the share price is only going in one direction and that's up. GLA

Mike only buys distressed businesses at bargain basement prices so he missed the THG boat sometime ago.

If Mikes is buying shares its simply to turn a profit which is exactly why we all bought shares.

He is demonstrably useless, I have left him a stinging rebuke in the comments sections. I don't suppose he will be in the least bit bothered but it made me feel better ;-)

Steve that's nothing more a snapshot of human behaviour - in all walks of life people want to hear & see what they want to hear & seem. The key to good TA is belief backed by discipline.

I have had two clear opportunities in the past three months to sell THG shares and buy them back for a lot less, one I did and one I sat on the fence until it was too late so I need a bit more discipline :-)

I am also a believer and it's good to hear your thoughts. What tools are you using?
