i am pleased you can see the logic in it given that the growth in the pet food sector for is healthy up market pet food, typically on a monthly subscription plan.

to me it makes sense to investigate this sector with certain caveats but to others it's illogical, maybe even crazy.

I welcome your opinion but I did have a quiet laugh at your " I am confident that they won't make dog/pet food" comment.

You and I and plenty of others on here have followed THG for a long time and in the final analysis you cannot be sure or confident of any THG outcome ;-)

I wonder how long it will be before they do something in the premier pet foods sector. There's a ton of money to be made with the right product/pricing

THG is literally the only share where nothing positive or negative surprises me, the only share where I exhibit clear FOMO and in doing I have not traded in and out using technical analysis.

It's a strange kind of addiction for someone whose normally pragmatic and without emotion or attachment to any share but then THG is no normal share is it ;-)

The headline "bank robbery continues" is silly. No one is forced to buy or sell.

If you don't care for rapid share price movements then THG is not the share for you. The shares history demonstrates it is a volatile share whose volativity is aided by a CEO who for better or worse lacks the restraint normally demonstrated by seasoned CEO's.

Whilst the Conservative party to which MM donates a small amount of THG money to, has the financial and investment sector as their biggest donor and people like Rees-Mogg, Crispin Odley, both hedge fund founders are close to the people who have power and influence, nothing will happen and if anything does happen it will only tokenism

Moving the shares to a UK premium listing or to the NY Exchange won't change any of this. I don't care for it but accept THG is one of those shares whose price is easy to manipulate and that's bound to attract short term traders which only serves to perpetuate the volitivity

Straightntrue I have no issue with you airing your thoughts but I must challenge the nativity of your post. Heres an example that highlights how ridiculous your post is.

How many hundreds of thousands of houses are sold each year in the UK where the sellers outstanding mortgage is much greater than the amount of money the seller has invested in the property? Therefore the true owner is the mortgage provider and not the seller and that is evidenced by the fact the mortgage provider has the first charge over the property.

By your reckoning the seller should be in jail !

Shorting is a fact of modern investing so no matter what you or I think its not going away. I cannot get uptight about anyone shorting, its their money and they are free to do whatever is legal with it. I guess there are a lot of people very heavily invested in THG and that colours their viewpoint, I hold a six figure number of THG shares so no shouting me down as a shorter. From my viewpoint the Crowman or any other posters who hold differing opinions can keep on posting as long as they are not abusive. I only block a person if they are abusive and the birdman of Altrincham is not.
