I have no idea who won or what role they have at THG, suffice to say though I still believe that £50k of shares is excessive for a company that does not make a profit and has historically underperformed but everyone's on here is welcome to hold different views because ultimately this a subjective matter.

£50k awards are completely unnecessary in a well run business however THG isn't well run, not remotely so buying staff loyalty with over the top awards is no surprise.

I wouldn't read too much into this. Big global players tend to "pilot" lots of third party software to benchmark their own software and see where there's room for improvement.

Everything has a price and that most definitely means the major shareholders who have up until now sided with Matt. I have no idea what the price would need to be to get them to support a bid however I am convinced something between £2.50 & £3.00 would do the trick. One last thing please no more its worth £4/5/6 nonsense, it might be in years to come but not right now and most definitely not with Matt and his team of sycophants running the business

Theres a lot of reasons but let's start with the primary ones, missing targets, profit warnings, overspending on acquisitions and completely failing to deliver the strategic review he promised. Add to that petulant, childish behaviour, blaming everyone and anyone for the dramatic reduction in shareholder value. Theres more if you care to do a bit of your own research.

I am invested because of Matt but that does not make me a fan. I know people who behave like he does create a value gap and that in the fullness of time the value gap will reduce and if we are lucky completely close and that's why I invested.

Without his questionable leadership the value gap would never have reached todays large proportions so as always you actually can't have everything, all at the same time. Time is on our side unless you are shorting and if you are well I wish you well because at some point in the future the SP will significantly increase. Good luck to everyone whose invested

What I think about the genuine " healthy" state of Myprotein products is vastly different to the mass sports & fitness market.

I have the luxury of being able to invest a great deal of time and effort into understanding how to eat healthily, including when, how much, what foods work for me and which don't. My approach to food puts me into a tiny minority group and right now there's no where near enough money to made in catering to the likes of me.

Myprotein is in the right place at the right time and I am sure it will continue to grow and prosper however the paradox is that as an individual I get a tad annoyed when people describe Myprotein and its completion as health foods but with my THG investor hat on I think its positive to see the product range viewed as healthy.

Just because Myprotein targets the healthy sports orientated segment of the market does not makes its products genuinely healthy by default.

I took advantage of NCCs recent fall from grace but I have sold up as I thinkn the SP recovery has got ahead of itself.

Angus is a wise old boy, I met him when he was running Matalan. He had a tough job as the Hargreaves family were not the easiest to manage.

I have absolutely no idea what the end game is for his and Matt's relatively small investment in Kelso but I very much doubt in Angus's case it's for a bit of fun, that most definitely is not his way.

I simply don't know what the hell to make of it ? There are far too many possibilities so I think we will all have to sit back and see what comes of it.

Totally agree with your points re beauty and ingenuity - trouble is he is so easily distracted by shiny new things, for example newspapers or F1 sponsorship, that's just one of many reasons I wish he would see sense and take a different role within THG and get some proven no nonsense CEO to focus on delivering shareholder value.

No one gets a senior position without fully signing up to MM cult. That's why the beauty division is under performing because it's run by the best yes person rather than the very best person
