Honestly I am not seeking antagonise anyone however I don't think it's legally possible to defame an anonymous person and nearly every single user of this board uses it behind an anonymous user name. As I have previously said, I welcome differences of opinion and even if I strongly disagree with a comment or a person I wouldn't threaten them with legal action because I feel it would undermine my view point and to be candid to my ears it sounds a tad like playground bullying nonsense.

Oh and for the record I have only ever had one user account and this is it and finally I don't know why my earlier post was removed, I guess someone reported it and it was deemed to worthy of removal although I don't see why.

The idea that there has been 4 bids for all or parts of the business is bat *hit crazy talk.

As a long term shareholder I have no real issue with people being for or against the business or MM, your entitled to your opinion but please let's try and keep things factual.

FWIW my opinion is MM is poor CEO and the potential of the business will never be fulfilled whilst he is in charge and its the value gap MM has created that attracted me to the shares shows however it shows no likelihood of being closed in the near term.

Ste2000 I am 100% with you on that one. I honestly regret getting involved because my judgement is normally better but I hadn't factored in how much influence Matt has on other shareholders

I can't to excited by people shorting - it's legal and whilst it's not for me there is large array of subjects that's trouble far more for example, homelessness, working people having to use food banks, knife crime etc etc

The background "music/noise" is very very annoying and thats does not reflect well on anyone at THG

So please explain why the vast majority of active funds with the data rich, well connected fund managers always underperform the passive funds and I imagine also underperform expericienced private investors ?

MMM if you are one of Matts kids then that's cool, I would expect my kids to fiercely defend me when people were having a go at me but please don't pretend to be some seasoned investor because whoever/whatever you are - you are not a seasoned investor ;-)

I have changed my mind, I don't think your Matt's doting mother, I now think your one of his rich 4 kids ?

Mothers should be of an age where responsibility & common sense kicks in whereas kids, especially rich, privileged kids still have a lot of growing up to do and that would go a long way to explaining your blind unswerving support when common sense would suggest you keep quiet until such time as the business is reporting strong quarter on quarter financial results or someone has bought your dad out.

If that article is an accurate reflection of them then I wouldn't give them a penny of my money, the article is full of the type of smoke and mirrors bull that was around at the very beginning of e-commerce ( pre 2k)

And some people still wonder why the "investment establishment" and the financial press are sceptical of everything to do with Matt Moulding 🙄

Obviously you are entitled to your opinion and I am not here to say you are wrong or right but every single person involved has a choice - a choice to be involved or not and those seeking to be involved should do their own in-depth research and then make their decision and if there's no enough info to be confident of the research then common sense says give it a miss.

FWIW I don't like the fact that THG owns and runs spa's.

Stick to the retail "knitting" and divest yourself from all this frippy and before someone chirps to say they are a great sales outlet for nutrition and beauty products, if the products are good enough and priced accordingly they should sell anywhere, having to invest huge sums of money in spa's just to move beauty products is stupid beyond belief.

Manufacturing your own products is fine, selling direct and indirectly through partners is fine but wasting time, money and focus on vanity projects like spa's and newspapers is a clear example of why the wider investment crowd shy away from THG.

And your right they are toys and those toys are a big distraction. Matt's total focus should be on delivering shareholder value - that's it - nothing more, nothing less.
