When have AVCT ever, in its history raised at a premium (after the IPO?)
The full P1a data report is not to be released until end of this year. So what info will the market have? P1b? seems to work on a cancer with no other treatment. Otherwise enrolment is still taking place so I am not sure how "convincing" P1b data will be in terms of turning the heads of the market buyers to this raise.
Also PI's & II's who have joined in with previous raises and have seen their holdings decimated. II's have had the opportunity to make a quick turn at PI's expense previously, so clearly it was a money making exercise and not a "belief" in AVCT as a company in what they were doing.
Again, given the myriad of options available, it is impossible to say what dilution will take place, but II's including Zeus and RH, don't do this for free. They are not misty eyed, lets back this good cause and to hell with the risk, types.
I have been accused of being despicably mercenary because I trade a company trying to cure cancer. What the hell do you think BP, fund managers, II's et al are? Aspiring Mother Theresa's?
AVCT may or may not have something here. What they definitely have not got, is the finance to see it through. They are not in control of their destiny (yet).
RH may well have a plan (I hops so), but it will revolve around him and Zeus making money, the by product will be, all being well, sufficient funds for AVCT to carry on. The last, very last consideration is the PI's
How much experience do you need to have before that sinks in?
Maybe it will all work out fine and PI's will do ok and it will be at a premium, but while that is an option I think it is the most unlikely.
