To raise about £25m which I think is the minimum requires at todays cap. 20% dilution or very aprox., 25p per share.

More likely 20p to get it away at todays development.

Hopefully the SP can rise to mid 40's (on new news) and the 20% give or take dilution, gets us back to where we are today and then is at that stage we might be able to plough on, but that also assumes that the heights payments are continually dealt with in this new way rather than dumped on the market.

Its still for me up in the air as to how this falls out in the short term.

I have always maintained on loss making companies the time to buy is after the last cash raise needed.

I would hope and expect the next cash raise will be it.

(I know a "deal" could solve the problem but CC said that any deal right now, would be of small value so i am not counting on that.)

Wrong. Directors buying is always taken as a clear sign of confidence in the company. There is no better time or place to do so when the market in the stock is flat.

That was for the year ending 2024 and therefore signed off for year ending 2025. Thats why the RNS at the time said there was sufficient funding until Q1 2026. That was not a coincidence.

Imminent funding is still the big issue. How it is resolved is what is the market is waiting for.

I'll be happier when the SP hold above 38p as that is the top of the most recent trading range and until the funding issue is resolved it remains to be seen what will happen SP wise. So far so good and the warm words would be a shocker if they did not materialise into something dramatic.

As its my job to look at the glass 7/8ths empty. I am struck by the positivity on this BB and the talk of deals and licenses being sorted out behind the scenes and all the CC/RH talk but at the very same time, CC said any immediate deal would be small beer, which seems in direct conflict with expectation.

They do imo, still have to pull a rabbit out of some orifice to get over the up-coming funding challenge

Chris I think Zeus started buying AVCT stock from Jan this year and therefore this was more likely a plan in the making over the last 9-12 months

What is digikey? I am assuming is it a product that CPX manufacture?

If I am right, (and if I am wrong I point you back to the top of my post), could it be that it is/was not a big seller and as a result manufacturing capacity may have been re-purposed to more in-demand/better profit margin products?

This news is good for current shareholders but is a bit of a sticking plaster. Its basically the same deal as before (ie free money by printing shares and diluting the current shareholders). It relieves the dumping of the stock and therefore gives some temporary support to the current SP level.

This may be being done simply to buy time for the trial to release good data over the next few months or for some sort of license deal to be completed.

What it has not done is remove or clarify the necessity for how the more substantial funding is to be done. Thats still the really big one right now.

The Tweet from RH was however interesting.

38p is the first target which is not that far away so I don't put a lot of significant weight on it other than if we close at say 39p then it is further confirmation of a reversal underway. (And that's a very big thing given the scale and time length of the down trend).

For me I see 38p going fairly easily and then a potentially harder resistance is around 43-45p

If we (eventually) close at say 46p that then becomes the new floor and assuming the price holds above that then the next target would be the high 50's low 60's. There are some numbers in between but I am jumping ahead and the chart forecasts get changes with every daily close. so this is not super detailed but just a broad expectation if the SP continues to rise.

Anyway, roll on 45p

Hi Van, I think there might be an element of truth to what you surmise, (ultimately of course we don't know), but the spread and low cap make this a high-risk choice to trade.

If there are some like me who find out about a stock and then use TA to time entry and exit based on the potential then it can often be a powerful combo to exact profits.

In the end the SP will be supported by the news.

All traders try to do is get in (or out) before the big SP moves take place.

However my experience is there are not so many expert traders who play this game and it is mostly inhabited by the inexperienced and emotionally vulnerable.

The news thus far is circumstantially persuasive. Some may deduce waiting for the final t's to be crossed and i's to be dotted is a risk weighted in their favour and are content to buy ahead of the formal announcement.

But it comes with risk. The counter is the somewhat cliched adage, " the bigger the risk, the bigger the prize" However sometimes the risk does not always seem so large....

Each to his own and all that.

Hurst I don't use those indicators because I have found them not to be reliable.

Now, if you have been using them, and you have yet to predict 1 single move accurately perhaps it would be better if you stopped using them too?

As I am sure you know I have highlighted a close above 32.5p as increasing the odds of further upward moves. Or, if it closed below 29p then it would imo , be more likely than not that further falls would be likely.

I have never forecast a price. I use the chart to say at any given time what I think the movement will be, up or down.

But you know this so why do you keep asking this question that no sane person can answer?

hmm...Times radio had a cancer expert enthusing about ground breaking new ways of attacking and curing cancer.

Imu, gene, even pills you can take now, all making Chemo a thing of the past. Also he highlighted the rapidity and vast no. of trials and how much more quickly now with AI they were getting through the process.

What he did not mention was anybody doing anything about removing chemo side effects.

So yes I am sure there is a market for AVCt but the window as I have said before, is closing.

For instance will chemo be used in 10 years time? How long before this present trial with phase 2 and phase 3 to go is actually on the market?

How much is it worth? Part of the valuation depends on its longevity.

I am not sure it will ever now be worth billions and billions. Clocks ticking. But boy, does it need a deal sooner rather than later.

Well, I had 23p as target for a retrace, and it's close enough for me to top up now.

I think that is in part an influence but the major lead weight is the overall funding.

In the great scheme of things the loan is not THAT big a problem. (I do agree if it were resolved without punishing shareholders more than it already does then it would be helpful. But that's not a given. That money needs to be paid back. Currently its free. (well SH's are paying it via dilution), another way of repaying it is taking money away from AVCT that could be used to fund the trial(s)

It may be a license deal(s) is of such value that it could be dealt with and still the SP rises, but as I have tried to explain, its the multitude of options that could be applied to the loan and overall future funding that the market is waiting to see what path is chosen as it will affect the SP.

The only one that has been taken off the table right now is the ND listing. There are still loads of permutations to be guessed as to which one AVCT will choose and the implications thereof.

Pointless? we'll see.
