I completely agree TH.

It read to me very much as a holding RNS. keeping the company front and centre of investors eyes as the design-win-wait gets pushed back by other potential candidates for their money and CPX want to keep momentum.

Having said that, the potential (based on the mkt cap of CPX) is the big driver for me. It's a gut thing but my lizard brain says there will be an announcement alongside the naming of the Asian Conglomerate with further orders in the pipeline.

It "feels" too big a deal (in terms of significance), for the same company not to exploit CPX products further in other areas of their own products.

Its an odds game Jane.

If you believe that crowds are predictable under certain stimuli, then TA "works"

If you don't, then clearly TA is not for you.

But it works for me, and I can use a profit and loss column to actually quantify and qualify its success.

I was highlighting with my tongue very much in cheek, that the last RNS could be another big win.

What I actually am musing, all joking aside, is that this company, IF, IF , IF it really has a technical advantage over its competitors could suddenly be the go-to company for Super Caps.

I read another article last week again about Samsung releasing, this time, a tri-fold phone (hot on the heels of its release of a new designed foldable phone.)

IF, IF, IF Samsung is the design win buyer, then I am wondering if CPX is involved in these 2 improved designs as it was a throw away remark that development had been hindered by battery design (amongst other things).

I have no idea (obviously), what will occur, but the potential market cap explosion IF IF IF, CPX can demonstrate through contract wins its commercial advantage over the competition, then things are going to move real quick here.

(God, it still reads like a ramp....) imo dyor etc etc

Or... It could be ANOTHER contract announcement for an Asian conglomerate design win!

Also it is a particularly myopic view to take that someone's holding in a company is any reflection on the validity of their posts.

Arguments made by both views (in or out), can persuade the non stock holder to in fact buy the stock.

You constantly demonstrate a narrow view of ideas and outcomes and dismiss other viewpoints with an arrogance and disdain. That might not be the best way to maximise profits.

The cynic in me says be careful.

His words are not actionable, but if it causes a lot of PI's to buy that will likely push up the SP which may be useful for AVCT's purposes of a raise at ahigher level than currently.

I know Bella, I have mentioned this... several times... today....

And if we look at £60m being bit less thin that's a 50% dilution on the current market cap, or 16p share.

I am not suggesting that will be the case, but its an option that MIGHT happen. The market doesn't care one way or the other, it just wants clarity.

To me Chris, once a trade is closed out, win or lose, its over.

The next trade will have a buy price of whatever. It might be AVCT at 50p, If I close it out at 100p then I have doubled my money. The fact I could have bought at 30p is irrelevant and does not cross my mind (not until I develop a time machine).

Its that greed/fear thing again that you refer to and without being harsh in any way, you are judging me by what you think/feel as opposed to my motives.

I think it more important to preserve capital and remove as much risk as reasonable based on the risk reward that I personally try and work out.

This stock has the potential to do very well indeed so I keep a very close eye on it and act accordingly as to how new information is received.

I do have finite resources so i don't want to tie up money here for months that is at a bit of a crossroads that I can only see multiple paths for it to choose, when it could be working harder somewhere else. (For instance I have just shy of 10m shares in cpx, that's a £1,000 gain (and loss) for every 100th of penny movement. And that one is on the move.)

Thats why I try not to "care" about the actual company I buy into, its too easy to ignore other potential opportunities.

I don't need to know anything about the company to work out the odds on the next move based on the chart patterns.

It was the way Digikey was referred to in the posts that given I did not go back far enough on the RNS's to realise it was a distributor, confused and made me think that maybe it was a product. (They say there are no stupid questions, which I adhere to, but did push the boundary on that one :0))

But given, "CAP-XX Limited is an Australia-based company, which is engaged in the development, manufacture, and sale of supercapacitors. The Company develops, manufactures and markets thin, prismatic supercapacitors.", asking for the likely profit margin of its products even ballpark did not seem as stupid as the Digikey post... but then its all in the eye of the beholder, but seriously £50m-70m profit and my 22p is attainable. Given the scope of products available for tech leading super caps, I was trying to get a handle on how easy/hard it will be to deliver such profits.

Oh... I seem to be on the wrong BB.....Damn...

There is going to be a raise. all we are discussing is at what price. because of the influence of RH and the buying of the debt at 30p suggests to me a potential 30p for the raise

You would imagine that RH already knows what the price will be and that it is, maybe, already underwritten?.

Here (for me) is the unknown, the market is a lot bigger than the £3m that has just been bought by Zeus client(s), so it could still be a sell off because just for the maths, If AVCT raise 20% equity then that makes the 30p per share after dilution worth 24p. Or maybe the SP climbs to 40p plus first and the raise is at 30p (that makes more sense) and everyone is happy with the short term fall to 32p but now the future is more assured and therefore the risk reduced, allowing for a (more) rapid SP appreciation

The problem is how you get a 25% increase in the SP from here before the raise.

The market is not benign, it will want the best bang for its buck too.

So far according to the chart this is still a good entry point. so the market currently is looking for the SP to rise from here.

For me the lowest downside is probably around 25p, but the way things have unfolded suggests that a lot of work by Zeus/RH has already taken place with a more likely minimum 30p floor. So about 10% risk. Reward is much harder to calculate but I would look at around 70p plus which is 100% which is a 10-1 RRR, which is very good, imo. (Dyor etc etc)

I just think now the market needs to see how the next round of funding is dealt with, whatever it is, whatever adjustment has to be made,(or not,) and then we can move forward.

The loan is still a fair amount of dilution and thats before the next round of funding and I think some here are simply ignoring that reality and its difficult/impossible to know what the SP will do when we have no idea as to how it is to be addressed.

The best outcome as best as I can guess, is that the next payment goes the same way as this one and then that gives time for better results to be released making the SP higher, in turn allowing a less dilutive offering.

What i don't get if there is still a patient on Dox from the start of Phase 1a then where is his/her story because that surely would be really remarkable: On Dox for literally YEARS and also still alive?

Where is the data on that patient's tumour now?

It only refers to this payment date. For all we know it might be a one off. At the current price there are still 9 payments left at 11m shares a pop, is roughly a 25% dilution baked in. Thats before the bigger likely raise.

It just might be all about the money.

Your assumptions really are viewed through very rose tinted glasses.
