So maybe a floor has come in at .6p. Makes sense given the price of the raise and its over subscribed take up with a 10% premium to a sale price of .6p.

Anyway the short term downside looks limited given this should be a turning point in that it gives HE1 the time to get income from Galatica and to maybe get this mythical JV sorted out.

On balance the risk reward looks pretty good to me. immediate close above .7p would be confirmation but the first real target would be a close above 1.02p with then 1.2o being next so almost a doubling from here. And given the, at the time, expected raise was likely holding the price down it looks more likely than not that it will rise rather than fall below .6p to me (imo dyor etc)

Oh and finally, the market makers. Its unlikely much "manipulation" goes on. What does happen at significant prices such as this one is that they may move the prices around to see what the happens. So, push the bid to .42p If there are no buyers then they may think they don't need to hold much stock, and if they do have a bit too much may off load some to reduce their exposure.

Likewise they may move the selling price down to .39 to see if that causes a lot of sells. They will do this to adjust their expectations of where the market is likely to go so they can adjust their stock levels accordingly so as to make an orderly market which is actually their job.

Just for a bit of background for those that really don't think TA "works". What is happening now is that .41p for whatever reason has proved to be a sticking point.

So its at .41p and those that have sold previously can't sell again. (Some may have bought in back at .37 but with spreads and commission, probably not that many), so now those that want to buy are waiting to see if there are a hidden amount of sellers still to play their hand and are wondering if this is a bear trap?

Its a pschyological game played by crowds.

It's unlikely recent buyers that piled in a few days ago when we went to .47p will sell at a loss, so for newbies, if they want to get in they better not leave it too late or they could 10-15% more.

That greed and fear thing is huge.

Looks like round 2 (or 3 or 4) for the battle of .041p

Yesterdays fall to .37 was a retrace to a previous resting point, so not a resistance but a natural target for new buyers to come back in., it also helped the RSI to fall further to 60.48 leaving more room for rises above .41p without going into over bought territory again.

Although its impossible to say if it will ultimately break it or not, it is showing classic bull movement with sharp moves upward and retraces to go again, so this imo looks more likely than not to close above the now mystical .41p target. But (however much I try not to), that's also going to be influenced by my bias. (Dyor etc)

So pretty much a draw today between the bulls and the bears.

Clearly we had the upper hand but then ran out of steam and the spineless sellers took their profits and there were no buyers left in sufficient numbers to maintain the price above .41p.

But tomorrow is another day and we are in a better position since the last high of .39p last week or so, as the RSI was then 78.56 and now with a close fractionally higher at .40p, the RSI is 66.43

Here's a spin for you all: This is positive because although we failed (again) to breech .41p it shows that this is a tough resistance level. So when we do break through it it will be more explosive.

(What will happen is that at some stage there will be no sellers left to take profit around this number, so when a buyer want to buy at .38-.45p there will be nothing on offer so they will have to buy higher and the move will be sharper due to the lack of sellers in that price bracket. and that leads the way to the .60 plus range which is 50% above where we are now so plenty of incentive to get in at these levels while you can.)

Given these last 2 x design wins have confidentiality clauses, do these ever ware off or will we never know who got the ball rolling for CPX?

The mm's moved it further to see if that would draw in more buyers but instead it got sellers agitated now their targets were hit at this resitence level.

So, now we are here, let battle commence.

ID, I think thats true, but the balance here is two-fold: its still a very small, low mkt cap, loss making company, and this is another step to being a profitable company and removing the potential need for any more funds to simply keep the lights on, which in turn allows the SP to rise quite a lot on maybe, not very much. (but still critical), actual cash/production from this deal. (My guess its the £2m hinted at recently).

The second thing is the validation of the tech to the wider, global applications it could be suitable for.

The other thing that is to me interesting, is that both these wins are confidential, which suggest again to me, that the companies involved do not want their competition to know what they have in their new product, that these super caps are a game changer in their product versus the competition.

Bear with me if you are not that interested but a chart on its own is too vague to really discern the next move. Any stock always has 2 options and nothing predicts the future so TA is is just an odds game to say which is more likely.

To improve on a chart pattern various indicators are used in conjunction with the latest move to improve the odds. The one I personally find very reliable on small stocks is just to use the RSI: In broad terms anything 80 or more suggests (heavily) a fall and anything 20 or under suggests a rise. (Obviously there is a lot of scope in the RSI in between those 2 book ends!)

(I don't day trade, this is based on closing prices and I look over the last few weeks and months for patterns.)

CPX sprinted to a high close of .4 the RSI was 78.63 so very close to my 80 likely sell no. so the fall came and it stopped yesterday on the previous high of .29/30 the RSI was/is 50.68.

This means there is plenty of room in the RSI for it to go up. Because the fall was pretty much a straight line down from .4p suggests that will be the target straight away, with no real stops on the way.

This in turn as we have discussed previously from a TA perspective is a significant level as it reached a high, going back over a year at .41p and has not been above that since. So if it should close above it, it should bring in more buyers propelling the SP higher still.

The news today is the catalyst for the next bout of buying. It will be interesting to see if this .41p succumbs to buyers being prepared to go into new higher territory. Or more importantly sellers, need to have a backbone and not to let their share go cheaply.

Anyway, we have the SP on a support line, we have room in the RSI for a move up and we have great news.

Newki, its just looks like the standard unwinding of a stock that went into overbought territory.

Its inevitable: You get a sharp rise or speculation (100% plus) Some people then bank that profit. But those shares up for sale need to be bought and the new buyers are thinking, "am I mug to buy at the top??" So those relatively few buyers are not enough for the amount of sellers but the sellers don't mind dropping their sale price because they can loose 5/10/15/20% off a 100% gain... who cares! so its easy for the price to drop to winkle out new buyers.

In charting there are "indicators" to use in tandem with the chart patterns, theses buys and sells make, to increase the odds of seeing the next likely move of the SP. (These "indicators" are just algorithms of the SP.)

So its all the normal stuff. (Some people like slow and steady but the same rules apply, if a share keeps going up, even in small amounts it will go into overbought territory and will have to fall.)

D, as you are constantly reminded, this BB is impossible to have a discussion about AVCT.

There are a number of posters who are obsessed with other posters far more than they care about AVCT.

For what its worth BP will pay as little as possible to buy out AVCT should they want to. Its not about "value". (Whatever that means.)

You buy a house in a recession, you know that you are getting a bargain, do you offer more to the seller? Of course you don't.

Most here don't understand business, finance or the most basic tenets of commercial activity, let alone people.

This is simply the worst BB I have ever come across and it is a dispiriting place to post.

The lies and crude insults that pass as "dark humour" and banter" are nothing of the sort. This BB is largely infested with the social dregs of society, where it is simply beyond their mental faculty to comprehend a different viewpoint without going off the rails to invent agenda's, multiple personalities, deceit and illegal actions on behalf of views they don't agree with.

While further cash needed is possible, it would seem odd that they post there is £2m in the pipeline. Likewise the increase from 5% t0 an 8% holding also suggests its not needed, but if it were I would think would come on the back of good news such as the identity of the design-win client and the value of that win.

In any event, I would be surprised if it were around .20p

Around 1010 will be the support, as for resistance its in unchartered waters, but 1100p looks like a psychological barrier for many, but as i say lets give it a few days to settle....

It seems to me that Galatica is now the main focus. Certainly in the short term.

It may be that HE1 got lucky or it was a good plan from the outset, but I felt the initial project was worth about .4p-.6p converted to the SP which as I said at the time, all the positive drills did not move the SP because the SP was already way above the worth of the Galatica project. I think as they realise how much Helium is available that previous cash flow forecasts will be adjusted upwards.

With the vast increase in well drilling proposed, it suggests to me that the SP has got Rukwa thrown in for free now.

Colorado is a risk free development and its now a more straightforward case of running a profitable business. The money/cashflow is due to come in the next few months. This will transform HE1 in the eyes of new investors and at this price the SP looks much better value. (imo dyor etc)
