The recent closed high of .46p would be the target today. Given the close at .44p last night its obviously quite doable.

So if it could close at .47-.49p it would be extremely bullish as it would have shown a brief retrace and then an immediate new high.

Anyway, from a chart perspective that will be the focus.

The other side of the coin it falls back again to test .41p which would indicate that buyers are waiting for new news before commiting

At this juncture, if .41p is seen as the retrace then getting in around .42-.43 makes sense to new buyers and topper-uppers

Its a bit of a waiting game until the MM's either move the bid ask up or sheer demand forces them to raise to see if any more sellers will appear

Be banned? because I was intrigued to understand the motivation of a committed investor in HE1 when to date, it has been from a SP pov, a consistent downtrend but at the same time in the face of it, encouraging news? The idea is to make money, so that seeming contradiction looked to me worth exploring.

No one buys a stock thinking it will go materially lower. Yes, its not reasonable to think you will buy at the very lowest point of the journey, but you think you are buying in at around the lowest point. (Otherwise you would wait.)

To discuss how HE1 has performed and what original expectations were and still are, might have proven to be insightful for other investors.

We know, actually, very little in the day-to-day- running of any stock we are buy into. What these BB's can be helpful to some degree is to mull over posters successes and failures so others can maybe learn from that experience.

I find this attitude you display all too familiar when trying to discuss stocks that have fallen quite dramatically over the months and years. Its a knee jerk reaction to shut the poster up and often try and get the posts deleted.

Can I ask what the end goal is?

I imagine it is the return you are expecting?

With the dilution and time taken thus far, plus your average price purchase of the stock, is your expected/forecast return still the same as when you first invested?

Further, how long have you been invested and do you have an expectation, time-wise of when your expected return will be realised?

Nothing wrong with your thoughts Pub, but given how long you have been invested and your own personal expectations of how this would unfold over the years, has your own analysis ever been proved correct?

Its not a dig, but when you have "conviction" it needs to be supported by events. If you have not seen developments run the way you based your original opinion on then surely it makes sense to re-evaluate rather than double down all the time?

Where will the money come from to develop Rukwa? will it be dilution, will it be a buy out ? what is the worth of Rukwa given the "unique" system of the gas being mixed in water. What will the commercial cost be to extract? Did you see Colorado coming? Why do that when Rukwa is the big play? what yield is expected, What if the price of HE continues to weaken based on ever greater supply?

To have such conviction on such a high risk stock which has coincided with, after all this time, SP levels where the market values the assetts at £35m seems beyond calculated risk and simply blind, wishful thinking.

As I said at the top, have you ever been correct in your expectation versus reality?

Well it can't go down to test the support without sellers giving in.

In truth if they have had a good run its natural to bank profit at what may seem a significant price level.

Also if it is predominantly Traders selling, we don't care about buy and sell prices inasmuch as if they close out today and make a profit then thats that. Job done.

It may well be the stock then goes back up and they will take a view as to buy in at say, .47. We don't view this as "lost profit" from when we sold out at .41.

This is a new trade at .47 and the same criteria will follow, ie target prices, stop losses and all the rest, so as to judge the risk reward BEFORE placing the order.

Its much more mechanical and much less, (well it should be), emotional process. (ino dyor etc etc)

Looks like the .41p support will be tested now.

Good day for the bulls chart wise.

closed at .45p (RSI 69.23) good break through the .41p previous long term high.

It gets a bit more demanding now to see the short term because this is "new" high territory and we have to go nearly 18 months to get any sort of reference. If we do, then .62p is the target. (which was 50% higher than here this morning.)

The RSI is approaching over bought levels. (The books say anything above 70 but I tend to find that at 70 its still as liable to go up further than fall and therefore look at 80 as a more reliable figure. Nevertheless any buyers who work within these parameters might hold off.

Certainly it would not be unexpected for a fall back to .41p to be tested, but it would be lovely to see some news underpin todays breakout.

My best guess (for fun) is that we get another rise tomorrow and maybe wednesday before any retrace, and depending on these crystal-ball rises, it may put .41p to far away to retrace to. Ha!

If it turns out to be game changer in its field then the SP will rocket and then loads of people will sell to bank the profit, then loads more will buy on the downturn. If all goes well you really might, mentally have to buckle in because I would expect some pretty wild swings!

This upturn to 44p (be still my beating heart), is the latest in a tentative reversal on a 4 year down trend. with now 57p a confirmed resistance level.

I think, and this is not so out there, but I expect news to propel and reinforce some quick movements. the market and RNS could have a game of leap frog over the coming days and weeks.

Well, its poised... Closed at .41p right on the resistance level. Room in the RSI to go through it.

Next week from a short term pov will likely be, imo decisive.

It has to break through otherwise momentum will go and it will likely fall back.

The chart looks more likely to continue to go up than back, so the odds are still in our favour that it will be on the rise next week.

And if I can see it so can everyone else, so there could easily be a rush to get on board now.

Or it might be them just moving the Bid/Ask around to see what demand looks like for the HUGE week next week?

Only ever posting bullish things about AVCT and telling you how much the shares will be worth in the (near) future and then quietly selling the stock, whereas nasty old me, tells you when I am selling and when I am buying (and why.)

But thats ok because we are all here to make money even though you are selling shares in a company trying to cure cancer, while at the same time saying it will be bought out for billions at any moment and you would not want to be out of this when the RNS drops because you won't be able to buy back in........
