This is where this BB falls down Thorn. It just can't engage with the the various options and outcomes available.

Your points are fair and well made. the counter argument is not unreasonably, what AVCT themselves have said.

However when it is highlighted that the reality has not matched what the BoD have said, then it gets very difficult for investors to know how to proceed.

The next step is to perhaps consider has the BoD got form of not realising their own historical pronouncements, and in this case they have.

It ends up that the investor has to try and sift between what is said and what is "likely" to happen and that is very difficult, because who do you trust?

AVCT has proved you can't "trust" the BoD. As a result you have to use experience to try and read between the lines. You have to try and understand how crucial money and funding is to loss making companies, understand how completely hamstrung the BoD is in making any sort of statement that could be seen as a "setback". (basically, they can't).

The investor is not looking at this as an end game until it is at the end game, which AVCT clearly is not their yet (or maybe it is?) Therefore the money to fund the company to the end game then trumps the science. This is where now, it is clear to see, AVCT have been for years.

The only potential reason that maybe the end game is much nearer is if AVCT are close (6-9 months) away from a "deal" which resolves funding issues. At that stage and only then, does it become about the science. However you would be back to believing the BoD that the good news is in the next trial that has not started yet. Are they crying wolf again? who knows. Have they have beaten market expectations? No, never. So its tricky.

Investment returns are all about timing.

Baddy, RR are in a reasonably tight trading range of 870-894p if it closed below that than 850-860 would likely be on the cards.

The RSI had to unwind from the high of 894p and it has so it leaves room for upward movement. However when in a trading range, most traders wait for it to hit a resistance or support level before acting. Cheers

It will fall to a price that will look to be good value and buyers will want to get back in and the sellers will have gone and the price will move back up.

From a chart perspective, it looks like sellers want to bank profits after the good run (even over the last few months), buyers think for now there is not too much short term gain to be had so are sitting on their hands until the sellers drop the price further to entice them.

£12 is a 25-30% gain from here. That would be an extremely good return over 2 years. Particularly as dividends are now being paid and are only likely to increase.

Fundamentally however, the US has caused great uncertainty which all big companies with their supply chains are going to have to manage and the expected downturn will likely cause less orders. Until it becomes clearer as to what the fall out will be, many investors look for safer places for their money.

RR is back to a long play now I think.

There is a reason the SP is 32p. It would not value the company as it does if it were dealing with the biggest gamechanger cancer care had ever seen would it? This is not a, just revealed trial, that has been made public and the market is trying to catch up. Quite the reverse, it is a 4 year long trial that has been publicly scruitinised at every single step and has coincided with an ever falling SP. If you really can't join those 2 dots, then I guess it does explain your trust in the CEO.

See... you simply can't do it. Its a free country with free speech... I am not breaking any guidelines here by posting what I do. I have been negative about the stock that has coincided with a 4 year down trend. What am I doing that is so reprehensible on an investment BB? I discuss the stock, and have broadly been correct in my analysis.

Why on earth, other than your own very selfish motives would you want that accurate analysis to be censored or removed.

Its not about my amount of posts as there are many more "positive" posts here per day than all the negative ones combined.

Its really puzzling, a few, maybe quite a few, seem to abhor almost all posts from Thorn, me, DG, Touk, Btz et al, with constant pleading for us to at the very least post less or not at all. Yet it is they, and only they, that revert to personalizing the posts and not remotely including anything to do with AVCT.

The result is always the same, the posters in evidence of deliberate lies continually spread about them by these posters respond so as to make everyone aware they what they are, simply fabrications and inventions of some of very odd people. (I don't think you would be sectioned for behaving like this in public, but normal people would think you're not the ticket.) But still they post 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Just imagine, if you can, how slimmed down this BB would be without these idiotic, lying posters wasting their time.

Try it, I dare you, we will post (or not) what we think about AVCT, either respond to those posts in regard to AVCT (or not), but refrain from any post simply insulting and inventing paranoid conspiracies about us personally. Then see what happens to this BB

thats handy then, say stuff that i can reason against, and then post you have not read it, so that deals with that!

it does feel like debating with teenagers that really don't think through any position they take. and when theie contradictions and illogical thoughts are highlighted they simply revert to either straw man argument, (thats the best it gets), insults (the most usual), that obviously have nothing to do with the debate, or in this case, putting your hands over your ears, singing "la la la, can't hear you".

Well, this is what is odd. The assumption is, if you post a negative view point you must want the stock to fall and therefore you are not invested.

Or simply you are not invested, so why post?

That would then only leave an echo chamber of positive posts, because you only post positive views because you want the SP to rise.

But wait, I hear you say, you are only posting what you think will happen and it happens to coincide with a most likely SP appreciation, so you are doing a good thing by highlighting the likely profit to be made if others here reading your post agree and buy some.

I (only as an example) have seen more likely pitfalls then many here and warned about the likely SP falls and I am a parasitic, scummy paid troll, deliberately trying to make a company that are saving peoples lives go bust. The fact I (as an example) have been right and equally if any agreed, may have saved them money does not count.

Yes AVCT, of course. The SP always has 2 options, how many times have I posted that?

I don't know or can foretell the future. I think for the reasons I have outlined that I was very unimpressed with the TU and the Q&A session. It sounded to me as more of the flannel we have been served up with for literally years, with very little detail. Some here are taking that as a positive and that its all going on in the background. (Maybe it is but it never has before so why assume that now?)

The fact that the NEDS have been brought in could suggest AVCT are having trouble getting further funding and need their expertise and contacts to get it away? I don't know. Why else get them in now? On the other hand there is the tie in with Zeus and the fact that a couple of 3% plus stock holders have appeared.

So as always arguments can be made either way, its always a balancing act, and you can always be wrong.

But not for nothing I don't even know if they have finished recruiting patients for P1b yet? I remember reading they were still doing it but I don't recall saying it was completed.

AVCT have disappointed every single time on every single update for years and years, so I do admire everyones faith here, that this time the silence is a positive thing and its about to go ballistic. Perhaps it will....and then again.... like I say none of us know

I am pretty much on the same page Thorn, the only slight difference was that AS was not worried about funding either and we got the 50p raise so all was good (accept for shareholders.)

I have posted previously that I think AVCT have one last raise left in them prior to results vindicating the trial. I just think that there is more chance than not that it will cause a SP fall.

But like you I think given the transcripts and currently the SP being relatively stable bodes well going forward. So if it is a RI, it might be around this price (30p?) which is much higher than my previous thoughts but then its going to be all about the timing.

The RI could get away higher if it is supported by initial p1b data even if thats in a few weeks. If they leave it until Nov/dec with another 2 rounds of share dumps then the current SP could likely be lower than today and it all gets a bit sticky, (again)

Meanwhile I am not sure if we now go through a no news period, what will happen to the SP. As you know I glean (rightly or wrongly) a lot of my projections through its movement. (Not great not winning that award for 3 or so years running. Doesn't shout out that there is a game changer 6 months away to me, but then who knows....)

So just have to stay alert I guess.

if you were more accurate in your dismissive i am only rarely right and then through luck, i would not have bothered to put the record straight.

but i just think accurate truthful posts are more helpful than the spreading misinformation or as some might say, lies.

being right is important to me only insofar as i trade profitably and get what i consider decent annual returns.

none of this affects avct, but like i say some her seem to have a bit of an obsession about every facet of my life from where i live (basement), to my social life (non-existent), to being on or below the breadline, being paid here to post as my only income, and to having multiple accounts, to every aspect of psychological disorder you want to make up.

and why? well the only common denominator is that i have been sceptical about avct as they release news and miss timelines. and that it would seem that being correct has ****ed a lot of posters off. shame, but you all had the same choices i did.

Nice of you to chime in but when you say "you're bound to occasionally be right, stopped clock and all that" I can tell you I have in fact rarely been wrong. (Actually its about 75-80% calls have been right on my trades). And thats before we get into the whats likely news to come next with RI's, MM, Paul Hill, RAH, TTB, ophidian all major posters here who to date have been a 100% wrong in every prediction they have ever made.

But still lets not any FACTS get in the way of any entertaining posts of how awful I am as human being.

My predictions on where the AVCT SP has headed have been way more accurate than yours (Although to be fair I would have only had to have got it right once to beat you). But because of that I a have made plenty through AVCT, and will jump back in whenever I want.
