CC taking on the new agency: The argument I put forward I think was valid but equally valid was the counter argument that CC had confidence in the current sales figures and this would propel sales further. (we will find out which way that one goes on Wednesday!)
My argument that sales were probably still insufficient based on 8 months of £100k average loss did not reflect the likelihood that May was actually in profit with no caveats and that if that was the case, then June probably also was trading at a profit, and therefor 2 months in a row might be enough o reassure new investors to get in on the ground floor as it were. Certainly the cash pile, if no longer needed to support the company, then should add to the valuation of the company and 2.5-3p all of a sudden is not much a stretch.
So, as in all investments, on balance, I decided there was a better chance of a rise than a fall. Plus (and I like charts a lot,), the chart was pretty solid during last week above the breakout figure of 1.45
But hey ho, who knows!
