After all that hype over the weekend and the SP open down!! Is this maybe a reflective moment for the vast majority to stop posting about stuff you not only don't know anything about, but actually give the opposite forecast of what happens!

400-500 posts a day of which about 95% are not just useless but WORSE than useless. You really should be very embarrassed to about posts that are just fictional BS. I mean who do you think you lot are? Some fantaisits that think you are all next Buffett?

I think based on other retail stocks disappointing, that the market wants to wait and see what the results are before reacting.

The up is the online presence, the down is the store based element. Anecdotally, no one I know wants to shop with a mask on. That might change as people get used to it, or they just go online instead. Too early to tell, but it might crimp forecasts a little. I still think there will be a bounce but what do I know...

Assuming no RNS at 7:00am then due to the hysteria on this and other boards I imagine it will be impossible to buy on Monday. The MM's won't have stock and will only accept sell orders. That presumably will lead to fill or kill transactions where, who knows what people will sell at for a buy order to be filled. It seems likely to me (given I don't know anything, so I feel in good company with the majority here), that we will look at 180p-210p before it "settles down" late morning early afternoon. At that stage I think the company will have make a statement of either "we have no idea why the SP has shot up" or that there is news of a "breakthrough" in sales/uptake of their test. If no news then we are looking at a big fall (120p?) obviously if there is news then the SP I think it could go to between 300p-350p on Tuesday. Further financial calculations will be made on various timescales and I don't know where the SP will end up. (Accept it will get ahead of itself, that's for sure.)
If the news is as good as it can be which means the US will embrace it quickly, which means the UK and most of the rest of the world will, then I don't know, is £10 per share (realistically) feasible by xmas? (is £5?) imo only of course

Well, that was the week that was!
Started on Monday with a 1.35p to sell price and finished with a 2.1p SP to sell: basically a 55% gain!!
And hopefully much more to come over the coming 12 months

Avacta moving sharply for no reason? but it seems affecting Boo (as their distributor for covid tests) maybe something is afoot and I don't mean 12 inches, although I don't use it as a rule....

that's how I read it. If company is on target to make £3-4m per annum the asset value starts to look nearer 6p relatively soon before the company gets any sort of forward pricing built in.
I think it now hinges around confirmation that the sale/profit increase is "permanent" and not one off. We may have to wait another 6 months.....

you would think, somehow with a current resurgence of the evils of plastic in the environment, that SXG press office could be proactive and draw attention to their product! Patient though I am this looks like an opportunity to get some interest into the SP, and that would be nice because its been a long and very hard road for a lot of the shareholders so some help from the company would not go amiss!!!

Truly Wong, no one day trades this type of share. It is so tiny as to be so easily manipulated and with the spread everything is against the day trader. You need super tight spread, high volatility and huge volume.
I have noticed on many, many boards that as soon as a stock goes down its because of the dreaded "Day Traders". Its just not so. And this defo, defo, is not because of any traders per se, its just the normal supply and demand of buyers and sellers.

EH, the spread is way, way to large to trade. Assuming the price is reflective of the demand (and there is no reason why it isn't), then clearly, people are cashing in on the rise that they have secured over the last few months . I can't see many very new buyers selling just yet as the likelihood is there is more to come rather than less. Longet term holders who are sitting on losses, again imo would hold for at least another 6 months to try and recoup further.

Global, so let me get this right, you claim when it was 126p to sell (and 129p to buy) that it made sense to top up heavily below 125p. But it never did go below 125p (or actually anywhere near it to buy), but you bought anyway?

Hi Wong, I think you are correct that it now puts EVE, potentially, in the realms of a takeover, but obviously not at this price. It would have to be north of 6p, given that the company worth about 4p today. more likely nearer 10p.

But the caveat still has to be, has the last update been a flash in the pan or is it a sustained improvement? So the market will wait until the next update, to confirm or deny this latest set of results. (in the meantime I expect it to settle around fair value of, give or take, 4p
