There can't be another lockdown, short of Ebola breaking out. It has already bankrupted the country, plus all the extra mattresses have already been bought for the first lockdown, so you don't need to buy anymore again and the resulting extra unemployment on top of the millions coming, would somewhat stymie sales methinks.....

What would they do then..? Do MM's take on such quantity of or orders they can't serve and gamble they can hold the market for days at a time?.. Where is this big order? what do you know no one else does particularly as you can buy at148p now....Still I ma sure its all a covert plan...
Course when it does go up and then falls back it will be pump and dump, because never, ever can the SP move under normal supply and demand.....

Pedro, Only if the reviews are true! I am not saying they aren't BUT, given, just on this board, the weight that some give to these reviews shows you the temptation to interested parties manipulate them, whatever company we are talking about.

Why are MM's the problem? They make their money on the spread and its big enough on this stock!. Why would they manipulate it to keep it artificially down? Why not manipulate to keep it artificially high?

Maen, why would they do that? why does every movement on the SP when its not going up is due to MM's manipulation, Shorters or traders!!
Why does there always have to be a reason other than what it is, supply and demand. AVCT have promised much but so far, delivered very little. The SP is already discounting a lot of good news to come. And that's fine, fingers crossed it arrives, but just take a breath...

this seems terribly risky to base a future SP on the amount of TP reviews given that these can be manipulated.
By all means take it as a positive in the sense that on the face of it, people who have the product like it, but to base an investment decision on the numbers seems beyond crazy to me.

well Spike, that's a dilemma, If you are a long term holder like Mapp and Doggy and don't believe in large quick increases in the SP, I assume they would want a steady 2 or 3% a year for the next 20 years while other short term or trader types, (there does not seem to be any other choices than these two), would like that tomorrow.

Doggy, are you there? I am particularly confused because you finished your post with..This will come soon just hold on …" which seemed to indicate that we don't need to hold on for long to become wealthy. Or am I missing something?

Well Sinden, I hate to say this , but if you can only see one way a share can go, you probably should not, for the sake of your wealth, be invested directly in stocks

Doggy, how long is "long term" and how long is "short term" please. This is important as I don't want to fall into the "not so wealthy" category

Hi plaz, I just increased my holding (again), so maybe you are right!. However the slightly unusual thing was the spread is unusually tight, 1.66p-1.70 which suggests to me that there are buy orders out there and the MM is having to increase the selling price to induce sellers. Anyway, on my (probably twisted) logic that buyers are trying to get on board and that should at some early stage push the SP up, I bought some more , except I got them for 1.6p! I am delighted because it is less than I expected to pay but strange nevertheless. (If anybody has any thoughts about this I would be welcome their contribution.)

Hi mapp, I'm not sure what you are saying. If aim is so like a casino, then why buy shares in a company on aim? Also do you think that the other indices don't have, as you call them, traders? If you don't want to gamble and you don't like the casino element, I genuinely don't know why you put your money in these places. (you could put it all in pension funds or trackers, or ethical funds, so why do you buy in to individual companies? (I know its not to make money because that's all a trader is trying to do and you are not one of them.) Serious question actually.

Tux: how do you define fair value? if there was a1-1 RNS it would represent 50% dilution, SP would then be 34p. would that then be fair value?
