If you are speaking generally then I don't know what parameters you are basing that repeated statement on. Cleary its gone down further from your first Afternoon bounce yesterday when you said it was oversold, but apparently it had managed to fall further.

Covid, I don't "talk down" avct, I sometimes post on what their market looks like to me.

I can't help it if mass testing has finished, but i did see it coming. And I could see that the AVCT test was going to be delayed until July. But it was nothing to do with me that caused the delay. Likewise its got nothing to do with me if when AVCT say they are inking deals and nothing happens for months. Its nothing to do with me now that the talk is all about home use approval happening in the next few weeks based on what? What happened to all the talk of airline usage, or have we moved on from that? Do we all still think mega business deals are still about to be signed. (We did a couple of months ago).

There a lot of short memories on this board and most posters seem to be very content that their investment has performed so poorly over the 15 months. I am not one of them.

who, exactly (in TA terms) said this share was doomed? what has been the general concensus regards TA?

If TA is not applicable to this stock currently (or ever), on what basis are you successfully trading the share?

Iain, I think its the SP that tells the story presently.

If sales were pleasantly to the upside of expectations then the SP would be around 150p plus (imo). You would have potential sources of leaks from the Distributor, the Manufacturer or Avacta. I think it would be very difficult to keep secret.

But we will know by the end of Sept.

MM report was a rehash of previous expectations and now I thought longer timescales were being mentioned or now expected.

The recent interview that AS & NB gave, studiously stayed away from LFT. (I understand it was not about LFT, but when given the opportunity to make a passing comment on it they declined. Why would you do that if you had a good story to tell? )

(Also I thought telling in that interview was that AS did not give a date for the update, just that it would be the end of September. I read that, that at this stage, quite close to the results, no specific date had been pencilled in which suggests to me they need as much time as possible to give positive news. And lastly I though AS looked pretty bored actually, in doing the interview, but those impressions are just my take and obviously others could see it quite differently.

if sales were pretty bouyant (1m plus per month), don't you think AVCT would mention this. "Good start to Test Sales" type of thing, maybe through Twitter in fo enough for an RNS? If sales were ok do you think the SP would be below the placing of over a year ago? I don't know either what level sales are but its not unreasonable to think they are currently on the low side of expectations

Oh lord.... The facts I referred to were the helium finds through the previous drilling process which give support that a "Discovery" will be made this time around. These facts are circumstantial evidence to that conclusion.

Anyway that's enough now.

ND is quite right to focus on the drill because it will be the results from that that will ultimately determine the move of the SP. All that's going on now is noise and games within the market waiting for that result. And it can be very profitable, and that's ok, because that's all any of us want, ie to make money at it.

You pay your money and all that. You don't seem, even to see this as a chance of success, which is absolutely fine however, there is plenty of circumstantial factual evidence to suggest a "Discovery" will be made, so we will have to wait and see which way it goes.

As I say, i understand your viewpoint but I don't get your absolute conviction that it will be effectively a duster. I have found a closed mind can miss opportunities, but obviously you are as sure as you can be and therefore have no money invested. So I guess the best you can hope for here is crowing kudos should you be proved right?

Personally i would use my time to find a stock i did think was likely to go up rather than waste time her on a stock you don't.

Luchasi, that's all a SP is based on is sentiment. The SP never reflects the value of a company, its always a projection into the future based on what the majority think. will likely happen. You tell me, when will the SP be at the correct price on this stock?

This is just my personal opinion, this feels like a tree shake and I don't buy into that MM thing by and large.

But its perfect after a big fall and nerves are jingling and frayed, push the price down and then really let "fear" of the terrible twins have its head as the PI panics to het out asap.

I guess we will know by the end of the day. (FWIW I bought £20k at 13.4p)

DBD, not sure I have any of the magic dust. I guess 12..3-12.5p is a target but its very fluid right now. Just because there is a target/support does not mean it will be hit.

It could be as you have done, see 13p as close enough and don't want to miss out it case it spikes back to 14p for instance.

Its an unfolding picture right now so any prediction in such a volatile market has to be bracketed with that proviso.

Again technically the way i see it , is that this is in a trading range and therefore buying and selling within it, is higher risk than normal. Its if it break 11p that's when it it might get a bit hairy (imo)
