Hi Pat, well.... well done for not seeing a broken drill and therefore a halt to progress as not negative.... :0))

The good news (to me is that the drill was working asi it should, as I could not understand why it was taking so long to do the last bit, and now it seems the last bit is 400-600 meters deeper which broadly accounts for the "delay" to TD form the announcement last week.

The bad bit is its broken down... again....(Again this confirms my previous thoughts that it probably is on its last legs which was why it was sold to HE1 in the first place.

Helium Gas shows, well ok, good (given the alternative!), but that to me is just to calm the market that it is all still to play for.

Will this affect the 2nd drill? I don't know, but if this drill turns out to be poor result then (imo) any timing of the 2nd drill will make little difference. (I would expect a collapsed SP and for it stay broadly that way through the 2nd drill (whenever it takes place) and would only rebound on a positive gas show.

So, we wait another week.

As for getting posts deleted, yes I will when they are rude and defamatory (about anyone here not just me) and just as your is, making up and spreading lies about me. And also not for nothing, no one cares what you think of me...It just contributes to pointless posts (and replies) and turns other posters away form this BB that might have interesting views to share.

(feels a bit premature to me. The tweet today said drilling continues. Not stopped. so I read it that Monday will likely have another update. I just feel today would have been the day to come clean. The SP is holding which suggests there is a hiatus rather than an unsurmountable problem.)

You have to remember that AS also said that the LFT was the best test in the world, and yet it commercially failed.

(Now, I do agree that words like ground breaking or paradigm shift should be and I think were, as unambiguous as could be, but AS has form for hyperbole.)

1 patient out of 34 had a tumour that shrunk. Why didn't the other 33 have the same result? I don't know but more importantly neither does the market or BP.

So the platform works but its only when the data is released we will know how effectively.

For instance the platform works if it stops dox being released prematurely into the body, but if the resulting released dox does not affect the tumour that much or is inconsistent then that affects everything going forward.

I am assuming that this looks like (based on what AS has said) that AVCT may well have cracked it but until that data is released there are still too many scenario's that could deflate all our expectations.

I only highlight this to try and explain the continued reluctance of the SP (via the market) to be substantially higher than it is now.

The exciting thing is that it should be only a few weeks now for this data to be released and hopefully it will reflect our expectations of a new era in combatting Cancer

I would have thought it more logical to think what the individual if A happens or, differently if B happens. So you have a plan for whatever happens.

I agree the odds are increasing on an update tomorrow, (simply as the pressure increases every day to release one) but I have no idea if it will be good or bad news.

Half, so you are expecting a tweet tomorrow. If it does not come the SP will likely fall further. I am not sure what profit short term traders are sitting on right now. But in any event, if your gut lets you down, what will your thought process be then?

Fair point, perhaps if they had done some previous exploratory work and/or some seismic studies beforehand to have some idea what they would be drilling into...

On the other hand, its what HE1 said, so you can't blame any posters here wondering why its gone over time.

Xenor, picking bottoms is much harder (or maybe higher risk), than waiting for confirmation that the stock has bottomed and is not merely pausing or rallying before further falls.

So while a fair criticism is that charts are easy to read in hindsight, in real time its not, TA is as much about money management as buying and selling the actual stock.

I would rather buy at 13p and it never falls below that on its way up, then buy at 10p but I get stopped out at 9p, say..

So you try and asses the odds of whats most likely and when you feel that they are in your favour, you act.

I think Will, LB will have some larger share holders to keep on side.

Remember, although its a cliche, nevertheless its true, its not her company, its the shareholders and she and the rest of the BoD has a legal duty to do their best by them.

5/10 rig broke 16/10 back drilling.

so about 19 days of drilling or nearly 3 weeks and as nothing today lets say 20 days. (tomorrow)

So from 14 days of expected drilling it is now at least 20. which is just about 50% longer than they expected.

I know its not an exact science but still, I think a tweet to update us that all is on track and maybe why its going a bit slower than expected would be reasonable (imo).

My "fear" is the reason tHE1 got to buy the drill in the first place is that it is/was perhaps not in the best of condition. I mean given the prices you can charge to rent it out why would they sell it? And then it breaks after about 10 days of drilling was not a ringing endorsement of it, was it?

On He1's original forecast we would have had the results today from the lab.... and we are apparently not at TD yet.

See , thats how it works, there is big buyer( perhaps) out there buying stock. 13p is key, so now its broken (and not that it matters but I bought a load this morning on the back of it), but the chart says buy now, AHEAD of potential good official info.

So if/when the finance deal lands and the sp shoots up (wouldn't that be nice), the chart has already got me in ahead of the game.

Well, if this rise is sustained it breaks the 13p ish resistance which has been a thing.

I am as frustrated as any and all here, but this why you don't over commit on this (or, imo, any), type of stock. Its highly risky. There is no research you can do to minimise the risk.

In any event I would expect a tweet update today. They were "close" to TD earlier this week and therefore they "should" have reached it by now, given it was expected to be 2 weeks from start to finish.

Obviously none of us know whats going on so perhaps a bit more detail than the last tweet otherwise the assumption will err more to the "Euston, we have a problem" scenario's.
