Given the scale of the order and the reaction in the SP I would guess H&W have probably "bought" this business to see if they can get a ball rolling over there..

You would like to think so Bubble, but early Q2 is late April early May and if you make the statement on March 01 Harl were only projecting 5-6 weeks in the future then, and now we are 6 months from there.......

I think stokey, if there was any doubt, that the SP completely hinges now on the re-financing (and its terms)

It is extraordinary that it has been delayed for so long since this statement from harl on March 01:

"This £200m refinancing is now expected to close in early Q2 2023, subject to credit committee approvals and finalisation of the credit agreement and other ancillary documentation."

Thats kind of you D, I know lots of people, you included have their own stories to tell, but this young lady with a young family seems fate is being particularly cruel.

I wished I had said nothing now as I had not felt the need to reveal previously but it was more in confirming what you had posted that you can purchase trial drugs if not actually chosen to take part that was interesting and a surprise (to me).

Thats fair enough dbh, but I would say in my defence that I factor in a certain amount of BS from director interviews, but as surprise, also that LB, to date, has been accurate in her forecasts.

Also this one episode does not cause me to loose faith in the whole project but based on the above this seems to indicate a problem. The silence suggests to me, that it is not fixed yet and therefore contradicts what LB said last week in terms of timelines it get it fixed.

But as I have said earlier I only bought on a win-or-lose basis. This is just chit chat to pass the time.

Well, BC, personally, if the company think it worth informing the market the drill has a temporary, easily fixed, few day, breakdown, and then over a week later do not update the market then what are we to assume?

Is the rig fixed and drilling or not? has TD been reached or not?, is it even further down than the latest forecast or not?

The company let us know that the rig had broken down presumably to explain why there would be a delay to a TD announcement.

Do you think that is not necessary now?

There was talk of an expected second drill. will that happen this year or will these delays alter that timeline?

I have a relation who is desperately ill and suggested that they might be eligible for the next stage ion the trial.

Her close family have been told by the hospital that they will look into it but failing that she could pay for the treatment?

This is coming second-hand, so i can't say for sure for the veracity or if there was any misunderstanding in what was said in the conversation, but in any event , apparently the cost of the treatment should they be able to go down that path was prohibitive.

The SP is under pressure because as far as the market is concerned its still not fixed.

It was meant to be a "few days" and its now 5 and counting.

Is it a bigger problem than initially diagnosed? (I am not saying it is, how would I know, but once you start talking to the market about this situation as an example, you better keep it up and keep them informed or the speculation becomes potentially damaging.)

I think you over estimate the power we have as shareholders.

We piggyback on the company to deliver what they say.

Given we all know the risks involved generally in this type of stock and the track record of HE1 in particular, then to expect a smooth run with no problems is unrealistic.

They have to present their plan and I assume they build in some contingency for the unforseens, but their job is always to put the best gloss on any announcement. We know this and we all do the dance together.

Short of Fraud (which is another thing altogether) I think you should realise that we are absolutely powerless in influencing events on the HE1 board.

If you don't believe in the BoD then I have no idea why you invested or remain invested in them.

Its a high risk game and as someone with no first hand knowledge, reading some posters here experience's shows what a hugely complex and expensive task this type of operation is for a minnow of a company to undertake.

In hindsight I should have never bought just due to the amount of unknowable's at every turn of the operation from the very begining to now, almost the end point.

I have a lot of respect now for the companies who do this for a living

Cons, do Harl ever release quarterly results?

I am surprised, given cash burn, that no deal has been announced already as HARL seemed to be running on fumes a couple of months ago....

My thinking Thorn to a perfectly logical question, is that perhaps the data from DE6 was so compelling (in line with what has gone before), that DE7 will only confirm what is already known and that AVCT may get away with the initial results of DE7 as an addendum to the p1a data.?

Otherwise, it leaves open the door of time delays, as you can't predict when a DE trial will complete and therefore when the data can be collated.

AS seemed to be unequivocal about the p1a data being released this year.

LDA, I don't what the task involves but I presume AVCT have been doing this as they have gone along. If we go back to the old timeline of finish this time-ish last year at DE4, they have had almost a year to look at all that data. Since then they have had a months to look at the DE5 too. So really its just DE6 to fold in and presumably to make some comment on the initial DE7 results.
