RE: Is the market really thick?16 Nov 2023 07:57
Ice, you asked me "What value do you put on the FDA approving AVA6000?"
I have no idea. None.
I don't know if it will get approved, I don't, assuming it does, know when it will get approved, I don't know when it is approved, how effective it will be, or, what actual profit margin and amount of sales will actually take place. I don't know how long it will take to get to max sales and profits, I don't know by then, if there will alternatives that eat into that market.
What I do know there is potential and therefore like you the risk reward seems worth holding the stock.
Clearly my approach differs to some or many here, I think time is a critical factor in maximising investment returns.
I am encouraged by what seems a shift in timelines recently, whereby the penny may have dropped that there are many alternatives being developed with varying degrees of success.
I always thought if successful (whatever that ultimately looks like) that a buy out will come sooner rather than later. £5b will do fine thank you. Given the amount BP is prepared to pay my arbitrary figure seems at least within the realms of possibility.
We know it works in the sense that the wrapper keeps Dox inert until it hits the Tumour, we know DOX gets released around and in there. What we don't know is how effective it is. Thats the point of the trial. If it was already so obvious , so clear cut, the data would have been released before now but it hasn't.
I am not assuming anything negative in that because trials take time and this is part and parcel but at the same time these forgone conclusions here of huge success are based on wishful thinking at present.
Science day do not move the dial, (think about that) and indeed the SP had been stuck around 100p give or take the occasional spike.
The catalyst (imo) for the recent SP increase has been the intention to have the data out this Q and to push on more rapidly and decisively than before.
Which i think is very very positive.
