(To LB's credit, she has delivered thus far on timelines so has in my book earned the patience of us lot for the 2-3 week timescale she quoted.)

As you have informed us with your experience, drilling is an inexact science. So the drill broke before reaching TD. So they are casing the hole which you have told us would not be done unless they think it will be worth the cost by at some time in the future, continuing.

They have (and who knows if this is accurate), but the next target is shallower and therefore hopefully the rig might actually survive for a result to be recorded.

As for holding LB to account for her words etc, then blimey, but every single CEO ONLY paints a positive picture. To accuse her of being disingenuous would suggest this must be your first foray into buying a stock.

It looks like they bought a crap rig, ok, but they were desperate. Had the rig held out then by now we would have cased, run tests and known for sure.

So we wait a bit more.

If you want to trade this type of stock then that's great but its tricky, and you have to accept the losses that might come your way if the bet turns out badly.

But as I say, it has been and still is, a binary play. Nothing has fundamentally changed.

When money is involved(esp BIG money), then quite often the law will be broken to get a desired result and to think just because Joe's public's health is at stake will somehow change that, would seem to be misplaced.

Turbs, positivity is just a state of mind. in this context it means nothing and if anything is actually damaging.

Joining hands and singing kumbaya is not going to speed up the parts delivery or the fitting of it.

Look how hollow it turned out with the Mike tweet and lots here saying, "was he smiling when he said..." The market wants facts and accuracy not ultimately wishful thinking.

LB said 2-3 weeks, only when that timeline is up should she give an update.

Thats fair TL, but I think there is a greater chance of SP positive news than not.

The raise is a more tricky issue and I agree that potentially a raise could be announced at the same time as the update.

My thinking on a raise is unlikely to happen before the 2nd drill.

My thinking is they have literally just had a raise for 2 drills, to go back after a couple of hick ups and say the money has run out seems ludicrous, wasteful and incompetent and that's before we take into account was LB has (recently) said.

(Having said that I know it could happen , but again I think the odds are against it.)

TL, there is a difference between the company and the SP. I think there is a much better chance of SP appreciation when the update is announced then a fall.

What the company does or completes or finds is for another day.

But if 4p looks possible (which I think it does) on a "positive update" thats up 35% from here. (imo dyor etc)

With the SP at 2.9p (as I type) and a mk cap below £30m this is starting to look like a very good risk reward. Obviously the lower the SP it can make it a kind of "well yeah, Duh!" observation, but ther eis new s coming in the next few days/couple of weeks.

And the odds of it being bad are limited. The news will most likely be, part ordered with expected delivery by.... or , part arrived and being fitted... or, part arrived and fitted and we are up and running.again.

Then there will be an update on time lines and immediate plans.

The market punishes uncertainty and right now the SP reflects the disappointment and the uncertainty, so the odds of both those SP suppressors being lifted is quite high imo.

I think any sub 3p purchase (as a round figure) looks good value from a risk reward right now.

We can all speculate now till the cows come home, but I wonder if this "accounting" difference has been a problem in getting the finance deal signed off. If the funder does not "trust" the expected revenue then that may have caused a sticking point?

Sorry if it was predictable, but unless you really are terminally blinkered there must be reasons as to why, with a matter of days before the potentially biggest development in cancer care is announced, the SP is where it is.

Clearly at this stage no one is buying enough to move the SP (it was 160p 6 weeks ago)Equally clearly Sellers are happy to let the stock go at around, give or take 5/10% of this level, 136p. It hit 185p 10 months ago.

What risks? what risks do you think remain given that BP will profit from the tech?

I have banged on forever about profit margins here, but its seemingly a taboo subject on this investment BB.

I highlighted that BP makes a lot of money in combatting side effects from Chemo and if that might be a counter weight to AVCT.

Ultimately I don't think it will as the market is big enough for new players to come in to disrupt the old guard as it were, and also that depending on quite how successful it is at reducing side effects there may be new cancer treatments available to Dox via AVCT tech.

But that has in my opinion been the biggest drag on the SP. The market knows (and has known for some time), it (broadly) works, but can't build a business model yet due to zero info from AVCT on the subject. This to a lesser degree is compounded by the time it is expected to actually be commercially available.

With the expected release of key data in the next few weeks I would hope that a clearer pathway will be drawn out to address these 2 fundamental business issues.

Its quite possible this is just a retrace from the sharp rise this week from a low of 11.5p- 14.9p...

My criticism of RAH was that he often posted his opinion as fact. And that it was often unbalanced. Certainly his timeline predictions were incorrect, and as for the rest of it it was just guesswork and until the data is released no one knows what it will say.

But its better here to be "positive" and/or rampy than accurate or correct.

Still, this is the best researched BB on LSE. ( The fact that Poirot is missed yet was completely wrong in all his summations pretty well sums it up.)

And how does she do that?

Just lie and say that they have discovered more helium then they let on previously, or lie about the state of the rig and its fixed and working.

Although many people on these BB's like "positivity" and dislike "negativity" it really counts for nothing in the investment world as they long ago realised that neither emotion affects the investment case.

In this case, the ball game is discovering commercial Helium, up until then there is a daily cash burn going on. which is the biggest factor until new, actual, news is released

I agree Kaeren that the Q&A should be interesting as the attendee's are usually pretty clued up.

My memory of these meetings is to make investors aware of potential growth stocks by inviting the key members of the company to give a more in -depth overview and then take questions.

So its more of a fact finding meeting but in a more relaxed informal setting.
