When AS says he will wait to make it more impactful at an oncology conference, how so?

Could he not have released the info months ago and then said it again at a conference?

I speak from a share holders pov. And as AVCT is a listed company it is his duty to keep shareholders informed and to maximise returns.

I have no problem if he is right to withold this SP moving data months on end but I would like to understand why as at the moment, I don't know.

Could the delay in reporting Cohort 7 mean that it is not producing the data as expected ?

If you are sitting on a substantial paper loss, is it irrational to be fearful of further losses?

Has AS ever said and forecasted things in the past that have not happened?

Why was their an abrupt change in the trial strategy ? What evidence do you have for the reasons?

Why would any sane person short a stock (Which is a very expensive, risky thing to do), on a whim or worse, knowing any second, at any time there could be an RNS which would financially cripple them?

By all means make your assumptions and share them but your "evidence" is not particularly compelling to me and only circumstantial at best

I have always maintained nothing said or posted here affects the SP. Its others who think this tiny little BB can affect enough people elsewhere to move the SP. It is only further evidence of the absolute fantasy world the zealots live in here.

LL, the last raise was a bond presumably because at the time II's did not want the risk and time run way before a likely SP return.

Now hopefully the timeline is clearer and much less prone to overuns.

If its not then the RI will be open to everyone with an expected underwrite with or should, any stock not be taken up.

I will be interested to see how this pans out if only because of AS's reaction when asked about funding a while back when the SP was much higher.

Certainly we are not far from another tranche being dumped into the market and if there has been no positive news by then, then for those that are bullish they might get a chance to pick up some at a lower price than now.

It also, again I am only assuming, that if there is a raise coming v soon, then the buyer knows about the likely downward pressure the next pay back will induce. I wonder if that will affect the likely SP offer?

So many variables to consider on scant info.

Best case I can see is a cash raise on the back of a release of great news, then its plain sailing.

Any other scenario and its harder to see where this goes in the next few months other than down

Yes, whatever happens don't engage in any sort of conversation where your opinions and guesses are asked for some sort of rationale to support those claims against the actual reality.

What has to happen to make your prediction a reality?

I only ask because every comment or question regarding AVCT if not a ramp, is dismissed as a co-ordinated attack on the company or just a trolling post.

I could understand that more if the SP was on an upward trend but many here don't seem to care or attach any significance to the long down trend the SP has been in. (But I am sure that if AVCT was in an up trend then the SP would be cited as proof positive how everything was going so well.)

Thanks Orslega, that video does highlight the potential here and once some key data is confirmed then some proper valuations can be carried out. If Michen is correct then 50p a share is not as fanciful as I at first thought.....

CTSFO, as I say, I think its too early to draw any conclusion.

When it fell to about 73p as a low today it pushed the RSI ever further into oversold territory so those who don't mind the risk of trading probably started buying and that momentum maybe encouraged others to top up seeing it rise? Certainly the odds were on the side of the buyers at around the low/mid 70's.

Have to see where it closes today but if its the mid 80's its within a new (short term) trading range, so inconclusive as to which direction will win out.

I agree Thorn, so many of the usual suspects will complain about the rubbish they think is posted, but post in even greater numbers (day in and day out 7 days a week with never a break), absolutely meaningless crap they don't even make any attempt to inform or even amuse. And it is relentless from them, but apparently they don't see the contradiction.

The rebound is a relief that no raise was announced. Unfortunately that does not mean there is not one coming.

So the 2 options, a bottom has formed and the only way is up or, this is just a pause before it falls back.

Impossible (without inside info) to know which one imo.

AS has proven with his historical verbiage, that he is difficult to read. The only comment he has made that MIGHT be relevant, is that he sought of said that the company's valuation could be a hinderance to II's investing.

That would (or might) explain the deteriorating SP without comment or any support from AVCT.

Maybe it was a softner that he has finance arranged but at a lower level than (at the time) PI's would tolerate when he laughed about not worrying it.

However, I have to say again for all the stick I have taken, I have repeatedly highlighted that AS has a way with words that, and I can only speak for myself, continually mislead me into thinking that certain events are about to happen and they they don't.

Then why are my posts constantly being deleted? They do not contravine a single rule from LSE. Mostly they respond to other posters questions asking for a response. And often now they get more recs than any other in that particular thread
