A cash raise will make the company more attractive to predators, and given 170p plus for long ago, there's massive headroom for a decent return. As a long term holder whose taken a bit already I've trimmed back slightly at near 50p in order to afford some rights or whatever. Wouldn't have thought it's worth raising much at the current SP. It'll be double in 6 months time!

Very sensible view IMHO. I sold 30,000 at 49 ish after selling 10,000 at 46.6 but bought back in with 15,000 at 47. I have a long term large holding with average price nearer 85p (ouch) so just trying to gradually get it down without going mad. Decent long term stock IMHO. Divs of 10p per share plus should return as some stage and the debt / liquidity is hardly all that scary given the upside possibilities. Give us a decent CEO / Chairman and all should be well... ??

Based on the update and forward statement, this stock looks a good medium to long term bet, offering reasonable expectation of a decent dividend yield with 60% or more possible capital gain over a few years. All IMHO and subject to the vagaries of the world we live in. I've bought a chunk at an average of 118p over the past week and pretty happy to sit on this for a while.

I won't post further, but Covid 19 is a very different animal than your BBC sourced conspiracy theory about the vaccine and doses. Suffice to say that we are in a difficult situation in the UK and the balance of risk suggests delaying second doses will - highly probably - save many lives. Risks are attached but have been, and will continue to be, carefully considered. The BBC seems to want either fantastic news, terrible news, or someone crying in their reports on Covid alongside some perfectly good reporting. I used to be a fan of the BBC but Laura Kuensberg and others have done a great job of changing that.

What does this have to do with Centamin? Please desist from spewing half-baked stories from the rather flawed BBC or anyone else about your views on vaccines!

And of course it's dropped out of the main indexes so passive funds aren't interested. It needs a re-rating based on good news not just wishful thinking. Having said that I'm optimistic...
