There are games afoot! I sold a chunk of other stuff and bought 130,000 CEY earlier at average 89.6. Have now sold just over half and made a nice cash profit. If it drops more will keep doing the same...

It's rather amusing how incredibly wrong the brokers appear to be almost across the board. Whenever I've spoken to those who interact with them, they always tell me the brokers they meet are young, lacking knowledge about the business, and almost totally fail to grasp the real issues that will impact the business. And they always have an ulterior motive. The shorting community is even worse. They should be hung from their genitalia and force-fed doughnuts until the increasing weight of their miserable bodies rips their family bits right off. Only joking.

It's the silly boys pushing it down. Good time to top up if you can wait a bit I believe. That's what I'm doing! Gold might not be quite as sexy as it was. But it hasn't gone away. And this share seems priced pretty low despite the unknowns and risks.

I guess final dividend for 2021 could be delayed but in previous years it came a bit earlier going ex in Feb or March. Funny times so anything can happen...

Sensible stuff. As so often happens these days the share price drops excessively as the stock goes ex. I sold about 75% of my holding in the last few days at just over 100p so very happy to buy it all back today and get back more than the div. Happy days. Can't see this share staying so low for long... And the next div of 5c isn't that far away... Can't lose!

Well there we disagree. Sold lots between 4.22 and 4.28 ahead of the div. Took some did and topped up. This is a good 'un for the ex next 12 months. If it goes below £4 you'll be lucky...

Yes. Especially if it yields 7% on dividends alone and has cash and no debt. I'd love a little takeover at 1.50 or so...

Cheer up. I've been buying as the price drops. Have a lovely load at under 97p per share. Yield almost 7% presently and will go up at some point... Probably soon.

Thanks. Ridiculous system design if so... But I have heard that before. I worked on systems at the LSE in the run up to Big Bang in 1986. We wouldn't have come up with something so stupid. One of the first rules of data and reporting information is that it should make sense and be correct!

Ha ha... I'm resisting the temptation to sell this one as I believe there's a lot more rising due! Hopefully this tiny snippet will encourage hundreds of people to gobble up DLG, force the short sellers to unwind their short positions, and encourage wealthy foreigners to bid a ridiculously high price for DLG. Fingers and toes loosely crossed in anticipation...

Interesting that - according to the possibly meaningless information provided - 4 times as many shares in DLG bought as sold. So - either a massive reservoir of shares being sold cheap or short selling or games by market makers. Whichever it is the share price has some upwards momentum IMHO.

Yes, distinct possibility. SP should be higher given proximity of next dividend and not expecting especially bad trading results...

Cum means with. Ex means without. Elementary Latin. I knew it would come in handy...
