I'm with you 100%. Can't see any reason for current share price. Have piled in today as I sold my recently acquired Ocado with a nice profit. Dangerous but exciting. Inflation is here. Gold always tracks inflation at some point. CEY outlook and cash is still attractive.

I don't believe anyone said that the Omicron virus took its first life in UK, but that someone died who had Omicron. That's very different.

Sounds like a mechanism for BoD to offload shares via a broker who's nose is in the trough.

I bought in on purely percentage drop expecting a rise. Rather stupid. After chasing the share down and doing increasing DD I re-considered and got out, losing about £10k. If I'd stayed in I'd now be down £25k plus. My point is... This company is still valued at £3 billion. A lot for a software house with plenty of detractors, probably for too many staff, and lots of competition in the marketplace. Please be careful.

Wow, some crazy thoughts in this thread. Viruses aren't clever, and usually peter out as the mutations do as much harm to the virus as good. Look at what's happened in Japan recently. Their mutation has rendered the virus fairly innocuous. Please don't scare people if you don't really understand viruses. A massively reduced human population would lead to all sorts of new problems so be careful what you wish for...

Most people have been wearing masks on public transport and in shops anyway... The key issues now are how serious the Omicron variant illness is (reports vary currently) and whether the existing vaccines provide enough protection to keep hospitalisation and death down at low levels. If the news is bad then we will need a new vaccine or other anti-viral treatments, but more restrictions might be required. The good news for CF here is that this is unlikely to be before 19th Dec and - even then - is currently most unlikely to mean shop closures.

Let's face it... There are reasonably sensible people here who may have balanced pro and anti views about the business, and there are the wild outliers. Or should that be outliars!

Switching in staff at a moment's notice is simply impossible and I believe it's pretty hard to get people at the moment anyway. There are some odd idealistic views around here. I doubt you've actually run a business... Overtime makes sense but needs to be linked to sales or the staff get lazy, try it on, and margins drop. Managing staff is tricky! And the answer isn't just to throw money and people at it. Especially right now in recovery. Staff at my local shops seem fairly content.

BillyBob15 - makes sense to me. I doubt there are significant penalties for paying off debt. Normally that's too be encouraged unless it's a dodgy equity release contract!

There are restrictions on dividends while the existing Covid debts are outstanding, but if trading shows good cash generation it's quite possible to borrow more favourable debt and re-introduce dividends. Look at Vodafone. Tons of debt but dividends are paid... So, dividends could be started again sooner than some think if the debt is re-structured during good trading conditions. Fear of another lockdowns is a much bigger issue than the existing debt, and demonstrating generation of free cash to service debt and dividends. They won't want to start divs and then stop, so I am guessing a much lower dividend than before but this can still provide a great yield and support share price growth.

Stupidly I did my research after buying a big lump! I really hope the recent good news outweighs the less good. But that is one helluva valuation for a software company in a crowded space.

Basically true but there are games played especially when the price is moving a lot. Delayed notifications etc. IMHO the system stinks and is not fit for purpose. Don't rely on trades data Top much!

Wishing you all good luck... I bought in a week ago tempted in by the huge drop. Have now got out after losing £10k so licking my wounds... I hadn't done proper research. This company may yet do well but I don't see many reasons why. The valuation is still crazy, the stock will drop in any NASDAQ style correction, the products are at best OK, staff issues appear major, enormous sales-led bias rather than product-led, grown too big too quickly. Could go on but really hope I'm wrong for you guys who paid even more than me. For those who paid less good luck too! Bye...
