Thanks! When Ocado has a bad day here it seems to get bought in aftermarket / US pretty often which is - I believe - partly causing the swings. And the shorters of course dipping in and out.

With bitcoin dropping, high inflation, and commodity prices high, and rumours of a stock market fall (especially in tech stocks and some emerging markets) there are lots of obvious reasons why gold can go up. Or down! My bet is up! Hoping cryptos drop and gold gets a nice boost!

From the spies out there (and my own shop visits) I hope we'll see CF outperform most High Street and Mall stats. The current share price hardly requires stellar performance to be boosted. Fingers crossed in expectation.

Couldn't find anything on the investors section of the website. Pretty odd... But I think we're all expecting reasonable or better news! Personally I think they can still do a lot more with partnerships and other distribution channels as the internet delivery is tougher than we'd all like given that they'll probably have to outsource development etc. Merger with Moonpig would seem to make sense at a simplistic level as there are lots of symbiotic benefits both ways. Anyway, we'll see...

I'm not day trading. I buy good stocks when the price is depressed, and I hold them until they go up. If the price drops further and I like them, I top up until the stock bottoms. Sometimes I get returns quickly (like with Ocado recently) although I'm now back in at average about 1565 and will wait for a decent rise. Recently had Card Factory for about 6-8 weeks following fall. Before that had oil stocks for a long time. But you're right. It's all gambling a bit. Sometimes I choose a stinker - like Aston Martin a couple of years ago - and then I get out at a big loss before it gets worse. I think I'm getting better at this game but senility will take over soon!

Been in, out, in, out and back in this week. Looking like a nice rise Monday morning if the news stays stable based on after market trades and reported buys and sells. Fingers crossed...

It's see-saw swings are a money-printing machine at present for those of us who got in at 1570ish. Loving it...

Anyone know why? Other than heavily oversold before? I've just sold most of the excess stock I picked up over the last few weeks while the price was stupidly low.

Patience. If things are moving slowly in the right direction the share price will follow. There are many out there who will make money out of any capitulation. This company will surely start to rise soon as gold rises with inflation. Or - of course - could fall more! I am betting on gold going up nicely over next 12 months!

Agree with all the points questioning why CF share price would sink. I would also have thought late Jan / Feb or anytime during first half 22 would be a great time to get the debt consolidated into a more agreeable package with fewer strings attached and pay off the existing debts. There's no harm having some debt anyway as interest rates will remain low for some time. The best way to get the company valuation up is to be clear that a dividend will recommence late 2022 and explain how it will be funded / cleared from contractual constraints. This is good for shareholders and the management team who will no doubt be over-rewarded for something of this sort!

Thanks, and must be something exciting... Just taken a nice profit in less than an hour but leaving a slug in as this sounds like positive news for shareholder value.

This roller coaster is silly. Big drop in NASDAQ and subsequent tech stocks globally but news today looks good for Ocado so I'm back in...

Yeah! I've sold out now and cleared well over a grand in 18 hours. Happy days. Good luck with this stock. I don't know enough about the business to be a long term holder but seems great value from what I can see... Ignore the silly doom-merchants.

Wow! See-saw. Just sold a lot of what I bought yesterday and made a few hundred quid. Pays my gas bill for a month! Keeping a slug at a nice low average for now...

This looks like one to be patient with. It usually swings about rather wildly. Glad to read that some of you informed characters don't believe there's a problem with the court case, and hardly surprised there are some doom and gloom merchants. There are on all the boards for stocks I've made nice profits out of...
