Yes, the shorters just pile in at the slightest sniff. The lack of any clear medium term company performance other than spending more money doesn't help. Looks like I'm going to need to ringfence this investment for a while... Good old Credit Suisse (as I said last week). Idiots or crooks?

Reuters etc headlining 12.1% drop in EBITDA rather than anything positive so... Fingers crossed but I think we know what's going to happen short term. Good luck.

Looks to me as though this morning's update offers nothing exciting but nothing bad either. Longer term the company strategy appears excellent. Autostore clarification, with nothing unexpected. New bots etc but no new sales (which would have made a big difference). Expect an early fall but not dramatic as the wretched shorters do their usual stuff.

All true, probably, but this company needs to stop trading at a loss. Putting a positive spin on everything as the share price drops only goes so far to make investors believe - the rest of it is results. Sales and turnover at the simplest level. Hoping tomorrow isn't a letdown...

I believe in Ocado and its technology, but am kicking myself for not understanding the tie-in with overheated NASDAQ before investing as I would have waited a bit longer. Having said that I'm only a few percent off break even and will invest further if SP falls next week after results. This one looks good longer term. Globalisation in all its glorious forms followed my career and I should have known better...

The ADR allows simple arbitraging, so ties the ADR and UK share prices together. Without the ADR the share price would not be so directly linked to what's happening in the US. Looking forward to Credit Suisse clients buying some Shares!

Looks like Credit Suisse have kippered the PIs as now seems to be the purpose of Broker upgrades. It allows them to flog lots of stock at a better price. Seems to happen all the time and I think from now on I will disregard broker garbage. Saving some cash for next week!

I don't agree. The existence of the ADR links Ocado to the US tech stock bubble. Without it Ocado would be a UK stock, impacted by what happens in the US, but not to the same extent. Fingers crossed that the technology starts to pay back. Rather important IMHO.

The Ocado ADR is a real problem for UK SP. The volatility there is nuts but generally heading downwards. NASDAQ is overheated and taking a long correction. Whether Ocado can distance itself from this trend will be interesting to see. Some half decent results would be a help. And trading profitably is now rather important I think.

Seems to me this is probably being shorted further... Preparing for a bumpy ride next few days!

Just loving this volatility. Leaving some ammunition in the tank for results. May be an excuse for the shorters to sell lots more. Stay firm!

Ocado for Prime Minister!

I've been very busy selling the stock I bought over the past few days. Still have a lot left but taken more profit and especially more cash uplift trade for trade than ever before. Thanks, Ocado!

Hmm... Price has gradually slipped back all day. Someone is selling. I'm guessing a hedge fund as general market trades look more positive than negative. I'm ending up with a bigger chunk of Ocado than I intended!

Well, I wasn't really expecting the long slide this morning after the recent news. Any wisdom as to why? Is there another US Tech Stock sell-off about to materialise?

I sold a few on Thursday and Friday so already buying some back at this nice price.
