From what I can lsee CREST hold all share on there system who have an allocation to each broker the broker has a list of who owns those shares .. Tlou would not know who are owners of the share unless they pass a certain amount which require the holder of those shares to notify the company and then if it’s above a certain level they have up date the market with the amount of shares the holder has .. it both speeds up the settlement process and also cuts out the admin and cost of Registering and sending out certificates all the time

I’d say that most share s traceable on the AIM

Are held in Crest ( Registry for Electronic Share Transfer) and that is why there is a hold up. As IG stated earlier in an email I got from them .. they need to get hard copies of the share certificates in order to transfer shares to ASX.

Tlou would have been aware that most if not all are/ were held within the CRST system .. So it is / was a bit of a copout to leave it up to shareholders to sort this out..

None of the CREAT shares would be in TLou’s share register and therefore it’s doubtful that any letters have been sent. Out… . well may be few ! Correct me if I’m wrong

Many AIMm companies come out with these elaborate presentations with all this and that 99% of them come to nothing .. Sound energy springs to mind .. Tlou in my opinion have always been realistic.. if slow and a measured approach .. hence the fact they are still in the game! But of course some might see it differently

Is Ed Miliband working for them to .. it’s a good idealism but the reality will be a lot more difficult to achieve .. as it is here in the UK . Green energy will become more and more important in the future .. but gas will still be required in the mid to long term .. private investment in utilities has been tried here in the UK and look at the mess it is currently in .. Tlou are at the forefront of CBM which is a lot more green than coal .. But they have had numerous issues with getting finance / funding .. May be if the government give Tlou a leg up ! Then it really will show it’s looking to private funds to develop new and sustainable industries .. But as usually easily said .. but difficult to achieve .. anyone looking in and see the hassle Tlou have had will surely think twice before investing in Botswana

However, I would like to clarify that, in accordance with HMRC regulations, we are not permitted to hold delisted stocks within an ISA. This is why we require clients to open a Share Dealing account alongside their ISA.

They are not interested in that .. because AST is your prefect life style company.. especially after the 1-100 share grab .. it gives it scope to issue shares whenever as the share base is relatively low for a AIM company ..iMHO

Optima capital has one employee and that is the director! Hmmm interesting, you’d have thought they would have gone for a much larger, more prestigious company with such a compelling opportunity to promote

I think the share were held with in CREST (Certificateless Registry for Electronic Share Transfer)which is UK based. This makes it difficult to transfer to ASX as Crest does not operate there. And the transfer probably requires hard copies of share certificate to make the exchange. I guess every broker has a different custodian but I'm disappointed with IG. although to be fair this is probably an unusual process ..

Additionally, please note the stock is currently disabled in Crest, and as a result all the shares will be moved from CREST to ASX, However, we are unable to directly transfer it to the AU line at this time. To proceed, the stock will first need to be converted into certificate format before it can be moved to the AU line." is not yet resolved.

We are actively collaborating with our Custodian Bank to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. While they have not provided an estimated timeline for resolution, please know that we are closely coordinating with them to expedite the process.

I’m going to wait until I get a response from corporate action.. then I’m going to speak to the help desk personally. I’ve been fob off for to long and I feel they have failed to give me any indication of the process, timescale and have never mention the removal of the shares from the ISA account until they’d actually had moved the shares! This is not the service I expect and will be forcing their failing's up on them!

In fact they’ve never contacted me about this subject unless I contacted them first .. and then just responded with a stock nonsense about “in progress with the custodian”…until yesterday’s email when they just moved the shares very poor show!

ig has transferred my isa shares into share dealer account.. this has really p me off as they should have transfer the shares from lse to asx by now and then they wouldn’t have needed to move them out of the isa. i’m waiting to find out from ig why hasn’t happened yet and what the problem in .. it’s a **** show .. the company don’t seem have smoothed the way at all .. and ig are total inept and haven’t got a clue what they are doing or is going on
