Also I was asking for tax advice .. but to just show me where it says the issues they claim are there! As if II have done it then they don’t exist .. I would say

I have asked for clarification from IG as to what exactly the HMRC rules are regarding the ISA issues and how come II.co.uk were able to do this.. IG have been total inept in whole process and can't see how one company can but they can't...

If and it’s a big if they went up .. then yes CG are liable if you go above the £3k allowance

I do think the allowance will apply £20k per annum …..if the HMRC regs don’t allow them to transfer share directly back into the ISA ..then I am sure the allowance will too

I don’t see why you can’t if you can hold ASX share in your ISA and also your share dealing account then you should be able to bed and ISA them . The fact that IG’s corporate actions department have suggested this makes it all the more probable that you can …one would hope!!

May be you should ask them what process they are talking about regarding transferring from share dealing account to the ISA. It's strange that they haven't highlighted the process and the requirements to do it

AlanB65 .. Well I find it bad show .. considering that they could have swapped the shares whilst in the ISA account and it wouldn’t have been a problem( I don’t think) .. the fact it took them so long to do the transfer that they had to transfer them out of the ISA in the first place ..

what I think they are talking about is. Doing a bed and ISA transfer .. this invloves selling the shares in the share dealer account. And then simultaneously buying them back in the iSA account .. There are costs involved with this and of course you need to have enough allowance left this year to do this .. or wait till the next financial year ..

Ps..all I have read about TG and the way he rights the up dates etc .. suggest he plays with a very straight bat .. and isn’t a spin of a conman .. IMHO

Bots your obsession with trying every angle to drag Tlou down is beyond me .. no the government didn’t take up the option .. and they might not take up Botala option either or though with the Tlou project as advanced as i it is and at the very least prove that the industry is real and could be of value to the nation then they may .. also it’s a new regime so who knows ! What relevance which with in the pension fund decided also this was backed up with the further invest late .. so they must see some value in the project of that would be very silly!

Regarding Botala lack of drilling. And using old data .. may be it’s to mask lack of capital ? sound energy did that at first then failed to find any new gas seems and used all the capital chasing the dream

Tlou …I’m not sure why this project is still not over the line yet as you say it could be for a number of reason none of them positive .. but I will say way build all the infrastructure iif they had doubts.. it would be utter madness

No surprise that they didn't take up the 15% ...they did very little to aid the project and still don't believe in its value to the country ... it seems...

Yes I’m hoping they will restore them to ISA to as per Sono1 email …they really should do as the shares were held in there in the first place and due to their protractive process they were removed after 4 weeks . Let me know the response you get Brad then I’ll contact them

And, when the positions have been moved to ASX you will get it under your ISA, if were holding TLOU shares on ISA account before.

Having not brought via the ASX before .. it’s not the same as LSE is it? .. in that it’s matched instantly and a trade done ? It’s a longer process?

IG ……,Good news the shares are now showing as ASX shares .. the bad news is they haven’t been transferred back in to the ISA which is very disappointing
