If Jed Mercurio were to use the procurement debacle as a story line with AC12 trying to unearth institutional corruption it would make an amazing series however it would be an eventual damp squib as the final episode will reveal the mastermind of the embezzlement to be none other than Ian Buckle’s brother Tommy who is a low ranking procurement officer in DHSC. Series due to be screened sometime in 2022.

Several hundred Versalab units parked up in strategic locations would do the trick. No posting and waiting days for dodgy results. The situation in India is truly heartbreaking - they need oxygen and ventilators. Anything we can do would provide a little comfort. Having said this we drove to Hamble on the Solent (first trip in months) yesterday and you would have thought we were clear of COVID as the crowds ignored all precautions. These people need to see the reports from India. We are not out of the woods yet.

Have supported Porky9 for sometime now, and we all want to see £54 and more. My view was founded on the performance of NCYT and today GM laid bare what they are about:- professional outfit, smart, adaptable, not given to boasting, recognising the evolving need for POC, not taking on a technology Q16 & Q32 that is one use only but for 550 different tests (wow!), recognising what the country needs as the pandemic evolves and managing to keep up with the rapid changes (variants, vaccination / antibodies). If this company does not do well I am a Dutchman!! Now re-write the investor assessment / forecast and don’t ask Motley Fool. Wow!

They wanted an inexpensive mass testing tool, they chose Innova (Chinese), not sure which expert backed this test, now stuck with a mountain of cxxp, can’t go back on the stupid mega expenditure so dish them out like confetti and use BBC to promote the cxxp tests. So you have knowingly subjected the electorate to the risk of isolating unnecessarily, to allowing spreaders to wander freely thinking they are in the clear. Then you have a back up plan which is to conduct surge testing when you find a cluster of cases but now you use PCR. Sadly, this is so wrong and as others have said this is going to end in misery for many more. The Phoenix that is NCYT will rise again soon enough! Only this time it will soar!
