Hi ShaunP, I wish I had the time to dedicate to research and contribute to your huge data collection. Presently I am testing my capacity to study for an intensive wine course, which is all consuming. Time only to check bb activities make an occasional comment, hopefully not annoy anyone. I remain quietly confident about NCYT outlook, the more worrying thing is the state of the battle to control this virus, the impact on young people in their prime with a whole life ahead of them. HarChris, we simply do not know enough about these vaccines, how effective they will prove to be, do they need boosting every 6 months, are all side effects known yet, what about the people with compromised immune systems, new virus strains etc. Yes it is fantastic that the vaccines have come about so quickly against overwhelming odds. Let us hope that we can beat this awful pandemic, we are not out of the woods yet and we will not be for all of 2021, at least. Peace.

TayQ and HarChris, the con referred to by HarChris re vaccine getting sorted by summer 2021 is based on speculation. I would say the vaccine story has some way to go before we can take our collective feet of the gas. Testing requirements will be with us for a quite some time to come.

@Porky9, If Macron had conceded on the LFT issue it does seem a bit strange that the French didn’t approve our original Gold standard PCR test and wanted one that picked up two strains!!! That was delivered. Need for a reliable cheap test for mass testing is really important. Let us hope NCYT can come up with the goods in January.
