Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Sky news reporting is inaccurate and does PCR a disservice. Do they have any journalists who are technically minded?!

PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) tests are laboratory tested and can take up to three days to process.
@Troublesome, what can one say! The government is corrupt, they ignored the FDA statement on Innova test and proceeded regardless and now not providing justification. They are all tied up in this feeding at the trough. Sadly, we the shareholders in NCYT and other UK businesses are suffering because of this. Brexit was to take Britain back and then the pandemic has become an opportunity to take the nation to the cleaners. Boris has fooled the nation and continuing to do so. Hope the truth does get out. Until then hope we stay safe to see our sp get back up to where it should be. Looking very promising.
Shell is a nasty cheapskate company. No surprises there then!
@Exmex and Kaeren, another Chinese supplier with a US middle man? Smell a rat! Innova group @InnovaScandal is on the case on Twitter.
Let us hope that any wrong doing is uncovered. BJ dodges all the questions with bs.
@Porky9 great summary thanks. I have yet to watch this discussion.
Much appreciated. Looks like NCYT is right on the money. Impact of climate change is quite scary!
Come in Novacyt your time has arrived!!
They would be sending off samples to a laboratory? Rather than a 2 hour turnaround for Q16 and 32.
How ever you dice this share it is very frustrating to see a rise destroyed by shorters algorithm or whatever. Hacked off. Let us wait for 2011 revenues and DHSC resolution. Patience is being tested. How did they justify the £8+ million. Not on share price!
If buying pressure is sustained the algo-bot will eventually run out of stock to sell?? No reason for buying pressure to diminish. If DHSC contract news lands this will add to buying pressure. What is not to like about this company?
@Temuchin,
Thanks for raising this subject. The reveal of this could prove to be the giant leap NCYT could be making onto the world diagnostic stage. Also be interesting to know who owns the intellectual rights to the technology. We need mass production capability so OEM may not be AZN. Is my logic flawed? AZN did complete the trial testing using their employees so a tie up seems likely. Why has GM kept this under wraps?

PathFlow® COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Pro and PathFlow® COVID-19 Rapid Antigen have been developed with a partner through an OEM agreement in conjunction with Novacyt's Microgen Bioproducts division.
@Porky9
How long have AVCT been trying to get a product out to market, what is the mcap, are they selling anything?
Spit on this AVCT
@Troublesome
Saj- more of the same crap. Better if he just shut the F up! BJ’s finger puppet! I worry for the school kids and their families.
Hope good law project are successful in their challenges. Can of worms!

It has been a bonanza for brown envelopes of pandemic proportions!
Kieran, can’t answer your query on AZ versus Pfizer. You will have seen the tweet from Eric Fingl-Ding

I too am a tennis fan but would refrain from going to watch right now. Best to mask up!
@Kaeran and Harchris, sadly PHE is not publishing in a timely manner or at all. Only what BJ wants to put out and when. Agree vaccination saves lives. Saj Javed is trotting out the party (BJ) line. Had they controlled movement of people more effectively - like stopped it we would not be in this position. So they set out the road map and now this is in danger of being a disaster and there appears to be no fresh ideas or thinking. Israel re-introduced mask wearing for everyone even those who are double vaccinated!! Based on their experience!!!! In industry, large projects usually have a different project manager for each phase of the project. This ensures the right skill sets are brought on to ensure delivery. The government is sadly bereft of ideas and only interested in saving their skins and staying in office. Saj has no real power and that is why he has been given the job - do as I tell you. Sadly Sage is pretty toothless and dancing to the tune of politicians. Saj had taken some steps in his new role- got rid of the camera!!! Now grow some b#lls and make a difference! Sort out the NCYT contract for starters.
Apologies for a slightly garbled blog, long day! :-)
EXMEX, Thanks got the link to Ajman’s credentials. Can see why Graham Mullis has picked him! This appointment sounds like will herald some exciting developments in the days ahead. Me thinks shorters are getting a little jittery. If I had Ajan’s brings a lot of science and industry knowledge with him. I like the patents piece, his connections in pharma and sounds like a pretty genuine bloke. Wait and see.
Looking forward to news.
GM can’t be that stupid surely!??? They must have checked his credentials very carefully.
Sorry but was it not the case that the Q16 & Q32 required to be run in a sterile /safe environment, Novacyt had provided training, but with the PCR design (pre Promate) the NHS staff were uncomfortable with the time and resource (suitably trained). So one could say there was a delay in deployment of what was supplied. This was rectified with Promate which removes a pipette stage and the process no requires an enclosure to keep the laboratory staff safe. Contractual people can argue the toss. The question is did NCYT supply the products as per specification. If yes then DHSC has no comeback. They need to find a solution and don’t think NCYT would lose out much rather give in a little to get more later. Perhaps let it drag a bit to see if the framework agreement delivers first. Can’t trust anyone.
Those who have more specific technical knowledge may wish to correct my take. It would help if we could all refresh our collective understanding of what maybe behind this fall out.
Point of care testing is what this was all about. DHSC officials didn’t understand what each hospital would have to do to process the PrimerDesign PCR test. They thought it was too cumbersome and spat the dummy having booked up test kit supplies that have limited shelf life.
I hope Sword20 is not replacing some of the disrupters we have had in the past few months. Sounds as though the individual has good grasp of how supply contracts work. Maybe we should try to give this blogger the best info we have. See if his / her range of possible outcomes change and skew in favour of us shareholders.
Andrew Marr should be interesting tomorrow!!
Good article in The Times.
