IF ONLY1 Any investor is entitled to their view. A non investor can have a negative perpective as long as, IMO, they explain it. My positive view is that I 'believe' (as I have to admit that I personally haven't seen it) there is a substantial amount of oil under the Weald that will eventually become of great benefit and importance to the UK as a whole; which includes your goodself. I have invested in the company as it is shareholders money that funds the operation and, I admit selfishly, hope that through my investment, I or my descendants, will reap benefit from that which I have sown. You on the otherhand continually refer to this 'dog of a share' or deride it in one form or another. You have my explanation as to why I am invested, for what it's worth; let's have yours as to why you consider UKOG to be 'a dog'. GLA

No particular skill. Heard about it, read up what I could, then took a chance. If I had skill i would have sold at at around 2.4p and reinvestingtherby doubling m investment. Try positve thinking, life isn't all roses but the smell can be divine. This life not a practice; you only live once. GLA

Why do I need a computer to work out a few percentages ? Do you have a adding machine? My generation were made to use their brains. If I need to work out percentages it will the percentage rise since I first bought in at.37p 320 % approx rise off the top of my head. GLA

If so why do you continually denigrate this share?
If not, why do you only post on this BB (no other in a month), and why do you feel we, shareholders, need the benefit of your great knowledge ?

Never said you were not. Merely wondering why you spend so much time attempting to discredit a share in which you are not, and by you comments never will be, invested. Surely it would be more beneficial for you to inflict your perspicacious views on the PIs of companies in which you were invested; especialy, per your post of 24th July, you were never touching aim again. Merely a passing thought as to why you wish to impose your deluded view of Ukog on others. Perhaps it is down to the Good Samaritan in you. I have just come in from the garden, where I have been on my hands and knees studying 2 ladybiirds with my grand-daughter. It was wonderful, until they flew away. It has probably made my week, let alone day or morning. Who cares whether this share goes up or down. A child's wonder and positivity is so magical and is the blessing of grandparenting as we have more time with them than we had with our children.

Nay sayers try it; nothing good to say, then don't bother saying anything; fly away. Go look into a child's eyes as he/she appreciates the world in which we live and it's simple wonders. Appreciate and encourage rather than deprecate and discourage . GLA

Just caught up with last night's posting. So, Ifonly1, you no longer own shares in UKOG. You have been posting on this board from around 9th June, approximately TWO MONTHS yet held shares for merely ONE WEEK. It seems strange, especially when (a) the shares purchased were by accident and (b) that you should have been seeking a quote for 'a dog of a share'. It would appear to be a little eccentric. You also claimed a right to say what you wished as you were a shareholder. As you admit to no longer being so, might I suggest that, by your own logic, you now take a meaningful journey to discover the inner sanctum of your own rectum or direct your attention to your own alleged investments.
By the way I am down, not a lot, but completely unconcerned. All the snide remarks about ukog by all and any trolls will not make the slightest difference to my belief in all my investment(S). GLA and back to the rose bushes.

If your invested be positve, you have to be or either sell and cut your losses or take what profit you may have chanced to make. If your not invested, why are you on this BB. Get a life. Heid is always positive; she will always have my support if, and when, I'm here. GLA.

He / it is a poster who spent several weeks, from around 9th June, lambasting or making derogatory remarks about UKOG then, on 18th July, bought 100,000 share BY ACCIDENT (allegedly). Within an half hour he is deramping the share. Claims to have lost thousands on other shares but always recovered his losses (by sheer brilliance obviously). Having (allegedly) bought 100,000 UKOG shares at 2'6p on the 18th July he is calling the shares crappy on the 19th, but on 23rd claims to have just bought (another?) 100k at 2.3p. By the 20th he is considering doubling his holding, and again on the 22nd considering buying more if it was sub 2.4p. However by the 24th it was 'a dog of a share', the worst company he had ever bought into, he'd sold out (allegedly at 2.152p) for a £400 loss, and was not touching AIM again.
I could go on but it no longer becomes laughable but very very sad. I feel confident that he is not an investor but playing the fantasy share game. I neither profess to be, nor will I ever be, a trading genius (just a PI hoping to make a few bob for the family) but I'm not an idiot; well not a complete one, having succumbed to the MM's manipulations on more than one occasion. But I am. hopefully learning, but I feel very sorry for ifonly1. He needs help, he appears to be living in a fantasy world.

And the difference between 'have' and 'of'. 'I would 'of' done this!!! '
